I have a quick question. One of my plants are in 3gallon pot but its sitting inside another 3gallon pot for height purposes. I'm thinking of cutting the bottom out of the top pot and filling the bottom pot with soil so then the roots will grow bigger. I think that should equal around 5gallons? Do you think there will be any shock done to the plant?

mmm...depends on how far down the roots are bro.If its been in the 3 gallon pot awhile chances are the roots are curling around the bottom of the pot so when you cut the pot you will probably cut the roots,not that big of a deal really but why not transplant to a 5 gallon pot?

I figured since its already 3rd week of flower I would be putting them threw more shock. Besides that my B-1 hasn't came in the mail yet so I really don't have anything other than bone meal, hygrozyme, & Rhino skin that may prevent transplant shock. Most of all I only have 20p bag of FF soil, I used coco on these babies I don't know how the roots are going to react to that? I only have enough coco coir for 2 more gallons if not 3.

Yea it's dangerous measures. I see what google says. I may just cut the bottom out. It's a soft pot and there's only coco croutons at the bottoms so I'm pretty sure it won't be the least any root damage.

I hear you on the breeding. Regardless I would like to see another grow from you even if its the same or different strains. I like the super scrog you have that shit is amazing :)

no cloner anymore bro,I use plain old jiffy pellets and 3 dollar liquid stim root from walmart in a humidity dome with a heating mat set at 80 degrees.my last round of clones were all showing roots through the pellets after 6 days.its cheap its easy and i have 100% sucess with this method.I usually take double the clones i need and pic the ones that root the quickest with the least amount of yellowing.

try it using just water no hormone. it'll work the same trust me, just dip in water as soon as u make cut.

looking great mate, especially with leds... u cant go wrong if a company is prepared to give lifetime guarantee and a full refund after 90 days. i have to admit im on the fence but and its a big but that sort of commitment from a company gives me confidence and witnessing it in use helps to bro.

but stop showing off, we really dont care. mine are better than urs hahahahaha

If you are 3 weeks into flower, don't bother to repot. The plant is basically done growing roots, it's making flowers now. Save the soil and the stress for next time.

:straightface: I did a stack with another pot. I filled it up half way with soil, added bone meal and then cut out the bottom of the main pot and stacked it. Luckily I didnt hit any roots. I then watered it with bio root, age old kelp, hygrozyme. So hopefully that made it alot less stressful even though there wasnt much to begin with.

I did it after reading that the roots will grow alot during flower. Hopefully I just lose a week from doing this.

Ive made a decision on how my new space is going to work.Ive been a hydro grower as long as ive been growing and i want to keep it that way lol...I just find it easier than soil all around.so after hours of reading X's thread and other reviews im going with the Titan Flow n Grow system. Im thinking one 12 pot system in the veg room under T5's and eventually led's and two 12 pot systems 1 month apart in the flower room with 4800 watts of led.im so exited about this i cant sit still!! this is gonna be a long winter:)

not for awhile bro,im building a 20 x 30 worshop this spring its getting split in to 3 rooms the largest being the flower room(half the shop) and the other half split in two,one for a trim and res room the other is the veg room.once thats built I ll probably do a round with my current system and then start getting the new systems and lights.its probably gonna take me a year to get it where i want it,this is gonna cost a small fortune.I need to upgrade the a/c and the dehumidifiers to liquid cooled units the lights and the systems,thats around $15 000 in upgrades not counting the workshop which by the time its built and running with the generator is another $20 000.its going to be a work in progress for at least a year but when its done its gonna be a sight to behold:)

nice to have a project to work on where u can have perpetual growing going on. wish i just had a single place to grow enough to meet my needs. just not possible where i live though. dont want all the eggs in 1 basket. i guess its best to split the risks.

i dont know much about the UK, I guess theres not much for wide open spaces there?around here its pretty easy to rent or buy an old farmhouse.thats how I grew for years bro, 3-4 grows in 1 place then move when the lease was up to another place in the country.is something like that not an option there?
