Just meant that it was obvious, and that I chuckled when I saw your comment about it to Herb Zen. So: I was laughing at your comment - NOT at you or at girls in general.

[~TS~ withholds comment about girls growing better than boys. But he does freely admit that they are a lot easier on the eyes after they finish.:;):]

I've always thought that the whole 50:50 sex thing in cannabis was in disregard of nature's modus operandi. One male plant can pollinate a great many females. I think the more perfect the environment and the longer the plants get to grow in the vegetative state, the better the ratio. I no longer have records here to refer to, but I do feel that that has been the case for me personally in times (long) past.

Then again, I've seen grows where everything seemed to be great and the ratio of females to males was still around 30:70. So... Ya pays yer money, ya takes yer chances.

And the LST idea is a good one - getting your canopy flat means that the height of your light is no longer determined by ONE plant, but instead by all of them.

BtW, why not start a grow journal in the ongoing journals forum? I bet you'd get lots of thread-views.

LMAO!!! This is getting funny! Naw TS, I don't get annoyed about much, most things just bounce off me. But for some reason I come off that way when really I am just playing around. And freeonthree, sounds just like my husband. Geez, just cuz you're always the party pooper don't bring everyone else down! hahaha

Should've started a journal, but I wouldn't even register here for some time, much less talk about my grow or post pics. I just sat back and obvserved until I was comfortable.

Appears my height problem isn't going to be a problem, they don't seem to be getting taller. Problem child has gone away from the light a bit, like it was too much, so she moved. Most of the leaves are uncurled. Looking really good. Will post a pic at some point, but have a full schedule for a couple three days.

I didn't realize I was bringin anyone down. I only need maybe a half pound at the most, to last me all year. I don't heat the house with it :)

No heat issues, actually have to worry more about it getting too cold. I close the door at night to keep some heat in. Cold in the basement during the summer with the AC going. Also, this space vents off to a 500 sq foot crawl space/storage area.

Thanx zen, didn't get your name in the quote there, not sure how to do it.... tricky. :slide: Some are getting a little top heavy, but they are so close in there with the tallest in the middle, they stay held up good, for now. Moving them around to water is going to get a bit perilous though! They are getting super frosty, have a jeweler's loupe ordered so I can take a closer look.

no worries,,, if you are going to reply to more than one persons post,, then as you read them click on the multi quote on the bottom right of the post,, then just click on quote for the last one you want to quote, and it will have all of the posts you selected in the post window for you to reply to...

Seed pods are swelling, a little concerned. I messed with one real obvious one and there were a small hard-ish green "seed". Say it ain't so, I am crossing my fingers. Hope I didn't miss a herman.

Thanks again there Zen. I just wish I could've gotten a good pic of that "seed". It is the only one I have found that is hard and appears to have seed, it is right at the top of a cola. I can't find any bananas, but obviously I am not going to tear apart buds to look deeper either. Not gonna cry (too much) over spilt milk, nothing I can do it seems except maybe harvest at more milky and less amber.
