:thanks:

and yeah warrior , it was time to repot , as you can see in the pics the roots were alredy at the end of the pot , on both plants , but now im in need of my improved grow box ASAP when those sapplings need to be repoted im gona need a larger box , no way i can support them inside , plus my box is way to short also :P I have about 2 weeks to get my stuff redy to put them in the new house :)

Whats good Kamy!!!

first off I just want to note, great job on the transplant!!! usually if your plant is having a problem, as I was told, "repot and refire" it brought my GDP back to full health!!!
Now that is not root bound... that is about the right stage to do the transplant...

this is a root bound

I thought I had a side shot uploaded as well, but I will have to look for it later... I am heading out the door right now and I wanted to make sure to make my comment before I left!!!

Now with this leaf, I think it is just the way the leaf formed... have you been moving the plants around a lot... like 1 hour its sitting there, and then like 4 hours later you look in on them and set them a different way??? you are supposed to turn your pots 1/4 to 1/2 turn every day when using CFL, cus the sun moves, so you mimic the movement of the sun. But it doesn't look much like overwatering to me... the tips of all the leaves will start drooping if its an overwatering!!!

:peacetwo: brotha!!! I'll check in on ya when I get back!!!

Wow, thanks for that pic Aston showing what root bound looks like. It seems to be a good thing that I transplanted when I got my coco. I still need to transplant a few more but I don't have the room at the moment. So when they are like that in your pic, do you break or loosen up the dirt and roots before transplanting or you just put it in with some fresh dirt? I have actually done both at one time or another. Would like to know for future reference...

And Kamy, you been a little quiet....Is everything ok with the plants? And what other plants are you growing? I would like to grow some veggies indoors but I don't know which ones I can grow indoors, any suggestions?

anytime!!!

I honestly don't touch the root ball at all!!! the roots will find out that there is more room all of the sudden!!! and they will start to take all that dirt over as well!!! Just make sure that you dont over water after the transplant, just enough to keep the soil a lil moist, the roots are going to look for the water!!!

You know I thought for sure that when I got back home I was going to see something from him!!! LOL!!! KAMY!!! quit lookin at your plants and come type brotha!!! they will be there later too!!!

I must say, that leaf curl had me concerned for a minute but now the pressure is off and I'm stoked!!!

Do you guys have 2ltr Coke bottles their? I have seen people use them as well as 1 gallon milk jugs for pots because of the space aspect.

When I had a grow box, it was 4'x4'x4' and it was like the perfect space to support 8 AK47's so I think about 3'-4'wide x 4'tall x 2'deep would be about right for 4-6 plants.

My next box will be about this size and I will be looking into LED lights next time, as well.

You are well on your way now my friend, they always seem to go crazy when 1st transplanted...at least mine did and yours too, it seems :thumb:

I'm a bit confused about something though...Do you have Hindu Kush or Skunk #1 plants?

Your title says HK but your tags next to your plants say Skunk #1....What? lol

I know Big Bud, but what are the others?

New subject:

What's really going to blow you away is how fast those LR#2's grow, you will not believe it and that box you have now will support many of them as well.

The buzz from them is a very happy and alert high but not overly potent either, more like, just right...Super easy to grow too...you will love them, I promise :thumb:

warrior , we only have 1.5 L coke bottles here , but we have other juices that come in two littler containers , witch is the same deal :P putting my plants in pots like those is probably a good idea , but if i do that it will be on my next grow , my new grow box will be able to support the 4 plants in the pots i have right now ^^ about the strain one of them is big bud and the other one is Hindu Kush/Skunk #1 X Skunk #1 , so the name is hindu kush / skunk , i wrote down skunk just as a personal memo , and yeah i cant wait to try those Low Ryder #2 babyes :D they seem totaly amazing ! those ones i will probably store one the 2L bottles you told me about , im glad you told me right away they dont need any transplant , i realy didnt knew that :Namaste:

oh and warrior , about the HPS lamp , i realy want one of those , but i cant aford it right now , but trust me , as soon as i can aford it , it will be one of my first purchases :D they are quite amazing from what i have heard , and the bud production increases significantly as well ^^

that box you show there in the picture is just for clones right ? it looks realy nice , must be a little expensive as well :) but im sure its worth the money

i introduced a new light to the grow box on the middle of the growth , so that might have confused her a little
Not likely bro...they love more light, always!

Astonr is right about turning them and/or rearranging them everyday in a little box like yours.

You want to get equal light coverage to every part and every leaf on your plants, less the roots...every green part needs light to promote chlorophyll and cell growth.

I even put some of mine on lazy Susan's one time so I could turn the ones in the back of my box easier...worked great too!

Kamy--Well, that understandable because if you neglect your girlfriend that tends to cause problems. A relationship is much like a flower too. It needs taken care of in order to blossom.

Yeah, I turn my plants too. Prolly need to do it more but did it today with the sprouts. I need to turn my ladies but I am so nervous with them now that two of them has injuries. I just want to leave them be.

Oh, sorry to hear about "Injuries"...must have missed that part? Sorry :adore:

Pop sickle sticks and electrical tape do wonders for injuries, if it's a stem breakage problem?

Just make a splint and they will heal right up...cool?

With the first plant, I used a fork, plastic hanger and some garbage ties to hold her branch up and together. With the second plant, I just used electrical tape and tried to squeeze it close together. Still didn't get it all the way together because of some lower leaves would have to be pulled out. Or should I just pull them and put it back together?

Yea, if leaves are in the way pull them for sure...It's better to save the whole stem than a couple of leaves, no doubt!

I've even been told to use fingernail polish to close the wound but IDK about that one?

Maybe "New Skin" would work for this instead? IDK?

I will get on that as soon as I am done on here..I don't think I am gonna try the fingernail polish but I still have electrical tape.

oh and astorn , i was at my girlfriend's house having dinner and watching a movie xD i need to have some time to my own :) but im back now ^^

I hear ya on that!!! hope the movie was good!!! glad to see ya back brotha!!! safe and sound!!!

I was nervous myself when the WW had her arm broken and I had it tied up!!! so I kept just moving the lights around the plant instead of the plant moving.

sorry it was a 2 part answer!!! LOL!!!
