My Blue Moon

I thought I read somewhere on this forum someone used a soapy water solution everyday for a week and drowned them little buggers to death...I thought you said that fishy...but I am a big fan of predators in the grow room. I have a few geckos that live in my bedroom (wild) where my mother plant and clones start their lives plus when I find spiders in my house I bring them over to live in the house plants that occupy the same bay window in said bedroom...only had them a few days so far and the small flys (fruit or white? Not sure the species) that had taken up residence have had their population decimated...plain old house spiders are a good idea for grow rooms too...they will spin webs next to intake and exhaust vents as well as between containers to eat up the pests...good luck!

soapy water works not because they drown. It kills them by dehydration. It does not effect eggs however which it why it needs to be used every day or at least every couple day for at least 5 days.

Can I get this at my local hydro store?????:rofl::rofl::rofl:

:thanks:

so much as I paniced yesterday, and purchesed a arsenel of stuff. seems the cig and pepper spray has slowed them down(I hope)
I got this stuff called Spinosad as recomended by a very nice looking middle aged young lady:Love:
anyway I looked up some stuff about it . looks like it may help if I treat them again. I also read that spider mites grow resistent to certain treatments if used over and over. so its best to switch up what you choose to attack those slime fuckingworm pieces of grabasstic chunks of poopy GRRRRR

Hey buddy, long time, sorry I fell off the face of the earth, fucking life

Your plants are looking great! When I look at them, they just make me think "fluffy"!

Sucks about the mites, I thought I found one the other day, but so far so good. But my heart just sank when I saw a tiny black dot attached to a piece of dust, I've been keeping a close eye, and I'm sure it was a false alarm, but i know dat feel...

Keep up the good work, and positive vibes coming your way :)

hey bro, sorry im a bit behind...have you considered just using plain old co2 to kill those little bastards?

just reduce your lights for a bit and seal the room up with a lethal dose of co2 for a few hours...not only should it kill the mites but may even benefit your plants.

Releasing a full container of carbon dioxide into a sealed grow set-up will kill all mites and insects. But, don’t be in the room while the CO2 is being released! It would be enough to KILL YOU! I have seen this technique of bringing the CO2 to 10,000 ppm for 15 minutes to kill all pests. You must vent out the CO2 before entering the room. Two applications, five days apart, will kill all mites, pests and their offspring.

I hope you are able to conquer them damn Spider mites.

Hey Fish,I just read now that you have mites:( I swear by Safer End All bro.Its a fast acting short lived product that controls all stages of aphids, whitefly, scale, spidermite and mealy bugs on indoor plants and its safe to use on edible plants up until the day before harvest.Ive never had to use it indoors before but it worked great on my outdoor girls this year.I noticed something eating the leaves so I hosed them down with end all and that was the end of that! not one bug for the rest of the grow and they were in a forrest:)
