My 1st Attempt At AutoFlowers!

Huh, hadn't considered that before, mine go off for the dark period or like Broke Ass Reg said, for a photo shoot although I forgot to for the piccys in my journal! (Side note: Sorry to piggyback on your thread here Dr.Pepper but I could do with some suggestions on what to do with one of my girls if someone doesn't mind, please? =/ )

Hope all your ladies are doing well and that you could sleep with Miss.Pepper snoring cause it certainly took me a while to shut up the Mr so that I could haha

oscillating fans and extraction should really be on 24/7, the plants still need to breathe during the night.

Would you recommend that I change my fan+extraction to 24/7 then? The ladies only have 4hrs of darkness and that's in the early hours (23:50-03:50)... I wish I'd found 420 and all of this information a long time ago would of helped my girls grow go a lot better than they have... But hey-ho trial and error and all that jazz at least I'm here now haha.

On a different note... When are your pretty little ladies having a photo shoot Dr.Pepper? :D

Good afternoon everyone !

How are we all today !?

I think I may have slightly over watered last night or should have waited atleast another day to do so.

The Auto Critical has slight yellowness to one of it's 1st set of true leaves (3 blades) and are sagging like they are wilted. I shall leave her to dry completely and will not feed again until I'm sure she will be strong enough.

Also I've slightly nute burnt the Kannabia Special but nothing major. I shall do the same with her and leave her to dry out completely and water with plain aerated water.

Other than that they look absolutely fine. New growth at the internodes are rapidly producing so all is well :)

Small update and photo shoot as requested will follow a little later today. I'm a tad busy at the moment so bare with me.

Peace and love to all

Good morning everyone !

Hope you are all very well and feeling the ways of the herb !

Little update today after the feeding 2 days ago.

Ok ... I decided to give them 2ml Alga grow per 1ltr of water as planned as always. And unfortunately I quite badly burnt 1 of the blades on the 2nd node leaves (3 blades). In a matter of 6 hours and some time in the morning, I witnessed them flop, wilt, yellow and crisp up real bad. After nursing them (it made me so sad to do this since she looked so pretty) I decided the best thing to do was cut the blade half way to try and save the rest of the leaf. After that I just prayed it wouldn't spread and that she could pick up enough strength to hold out untill the nutes had worn off a little.

I also did a little damage to the Kannabia Special but no where near as bad.

I decided to do some research into these nutrients the day after I fed them and I really wish I had done it before hand lol.

I found this handy graph showing the dosage recommendations on a weekly basis ...

So basically I had given them the correct amount but maybe it was too early on? Maybe there were still sufficient nutrients in the soil? Who know's? :)

THANKFULLY ... The rest of the day went by and to my surprise, she hadn't really stunted at all and she had greened out in a REALLY nice shade of green with only slight yellowing to the very tips of the rest of the leaves. The new growth has not been affect and the internode branches are thriving more than ever. A few of the other blades on the leaves I had badly burnt had dried out a little so again I decided to trim them half way to prevent losing the whole thing. The AK 47 was completely in-affected by the over dose and is fine. The Kannabia special is also fine and no more damage was done.

This morning was a much better greet from the little ladies. They seem to have chirped right up and growing at their normal rate. The Auto Critical has thrown out atleast another 3-4 sets of pistils and the white hairs get longer and thicker by the hour! No signs of pre-flowering on the other 2 Auto's yet but they are a tad behind the Critical (by about 4-5 days in time wise I'd say).

I'm glad to say we ALL learn from our experiences and I know now that these nutrients are more concentrated than my last brand (BioBizz). I note everything down for the future so lets hope my 2nd attempt at Auto's will go alot more smoothly. Also I have decided to definitely go with Auto Critical for my next attempt. She's so pretty and grows at an amazing speed ! I can't wait to see what she produces for me :)

I have to wait for Miss Pepper to get home from work later to take some pictures of the girls as again her phone has a better camera than mine :)

Sorry to be slacking a little guys I've been super busy recently. You know how life is !

I hope everyone's gardens are pretty and green this morning !

May today bring peace and green love to all ! :peace:

Many thanks,

Soda Pop

Also I'm kinda scared to give them 4ml/1ltr of alga bloom on their next feeding so what I'm going to do is let them completely dry out, give them a plain watering, let them dry out again and then give them half the recommended dose of food and see how they do. If they like it I shall up the feed next time to 3ml and continue to do so until I'm happy with a comfortable dosage. :)

Thanks Mono,

Yeh I was super worried at one point but all of them are still showing great signs of fast new growth so looks like I'm all good now :)

Does anyone have experience with Plagron Alga nutrients ?

I wouldn't worry my friend. Plants are looking good. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Have some reps :)

Good evening and green wishes to you my 420 heads !

How are we all today ?

Little update on the Auto Critical after much care and attention :)

She seems to be doing alot better now and I took some solo pictures of her for all of you guys to see the damage done by the 1st feed etc (You can see slight nute burn on the very tip of some leaves in some pictures too) ... I really like the colours she's showing now. A really intense green on the leaves and white bits where they should be white :) Also showing great signs of fast growth on the internode branches so finger's crossed they'll start stretching ... And talking about stretching ... She looks like a palm tree LOL :) ... I'll do a full update tomorrow on all the ladies but seriously you're going to laugh ... I mean I've had some stretched plants in my time my but these look rather funny but awesome ;) ... Loving the experience in trying a new setup and different seeds this time around :) :)

Here's her now at day 21(I took some of the pictures using the flash too so you can see the colour of her)

Also ... I have a question ...

I found a lamp that fits these bulbs that were lying around ... I was wondering if they were ok to use on the little ladies ? (Bare in mind that the Auto Critical has started flowering but no signs of any pistils on the other 2 Autos yet)
