My 1st Attempt At AutoFlowers!

U have to be very careful adding flavourings to plants for few reasons. it can cause imbalances in nutrient uptake, it can make the bud burn harsh. do alot of research if u plan to add anything.

I will take the time to read through what u have been doing. I only have limited experience with autos and i hate them. But as a rule add veg nutes when they start to ask for feed in soil, a lightening of the leaves is a good sign. switch to bloom nutes as soon as first sign flowering forms. i would flush with quarter strength veg nutes during this transition as it will act like a magnet and pull any salts out of the soil.

heres how to make cannabutter as requested by pepper

I made some butter today. didnt document the whole process but here goes any way. i had 2 large bags of trim, theres stalks in the pics too but i removed those. the trim was dried than frozen. I placed 20oz of butter in pan with equal amount water. i just crushed the trim up with my hands over the pan and sprinkled onto the melted butter. on low heat for 3 hours. poured into small tubs, allowed to set then drained off the water. Ive kept the water and i will evaporate it off for any resin left over. i put too much trim in for the amount of butter and the butter can only hold so much so should get small amount from the water.

The last 2 images are of pure bubble hash, this was the outcome of evaporating off the water. Absolutely lethal but can be tricky to smoke as it likes to bubble. I find warming it with a lighter then scraping it down the side of a joint or cigarette works best. this wont burn in a bong.

Oh crap ! ...

I promised to post some pictures tonight, I do apologise my fellow 420 heads!

MY BAD !

I'll hit you all up with some freshly taken momento's 1st thing in the morning !

Sorry for any inconvenience :)

hi all,

im so far behind my last post was page 1, lol

are you still using digital timers with cfls, the reason im asking is this, digital timers make my cfs blink on and off during the lights our period, really not sure why this happens but ive used a few different digital timers and also use them on my tropical fish tanks, my fish tanks lights flicker on for a second or 2 during the night and they do this once or twice a night, when i was growing with cfls the same thing happened, the lights would often flash on then off 2 or 3 times a night, plus ive had digital timers crap out and go a bit mental and can mess things up, so i use mechanical timers that cost a lot less and not had any issues since, my fish tanks lights flicker on and off but they always have and it wont harm the fish, but for growing id be concerned about stress.

Hey DP and welcome back my friend !

I have always used an analogue timer mate ... I don't really trust anything digital nowadays except from ballasts ...

I think the flickering situation you have is something to do with the actual bulbs.

My home has "dimmer" switches on most of the lighting and I'm telling you now ... CFL/energy saving bulbs DO NOT WORK on dimmer switches. As soon as you start to dim the light the bulb starts to flicker.

Maybe this is a similar problem you have with the digital timer. I think they work kinda the same way. Not completely dis-connecting the electrical current causing flickering and shortages.

Trust me ... get your ass to Argos and buy the same timer I have. It's only £4.99 ! It helps alot that it works on a weekly/daily/hourly rate too so you know what day you're into feeding etc ...

Helps me keep track of things :)
