Munki's 576 Watt LED & Hempy Style Flower Power

Thanks for the root porn, Munki. Yours look extrordinarily healthy compared to mine. I had literally no tap roots. Don't know if it had anything to do with being scrogged, and not having to provide any support, water schedule, heat issues, water quality, oc+... a lot of variables... have to think on it.

Cool the way yours kept their shape... mine were slobs :)

:peace:

Some sweet bud and root porn, Munki. Bet you'll be happy with those. ;)

Don't knock bhagseed, it's the source of the genetic lottery, this is from bhagseed

Nice, looks a bit like Flo:
(Flo under LEDs. Kinda spacey...and strange. The Doc can attest. :bong: )

...Or any Middle-America retiree wife you might see at a diner or rest stop having lunch with hubby with the Winnebago parked outside...

Takes a few generations to get distinctive breeding like that. :grinjoint:

(Well, both genetics...and environment. Exactly why purple hair has become popular with older ladies, I have no idea.)

Happy Campers, indeed! :)

Sorry everyone. Been very busy in my life and I'm not getting to be with the Cannabis when I need to be. PM has been found in the clone tent. Pretty pissed about it but I only have myself to blame. Ventilation out of the tent was off of the last couple of days. Result was warmer and much more humid tent.

Got to take down the Ogre tonight. Looks great. Had a jar full and closed for less than 1 minute. Opened to even two jars out and the smell was all good. Extended drying really helped.

Final weight of the trimmed and dried Ogre buds was 145 grams. Not too bad.

Material is spongy with a light crunch that becomes sticky. Resin heads are quite close together making the buds feel kind of like kettle corn. Any harshness is fading each time I try it. Not overly fragrant or flavorful but not bad either. Quite effective too! ;)

Will get pics soon. :peace:

Lurker... Kiss my Grits!

you think you'll be growing in Hempy buckets again?

Possibly but I want a more automated watering system. If I go manual watering, then I would like to explore some soil grows. Got to get Cannabis boy scout badges still!

As usual I'm quite impressed with the yields you are getting. 145 grams is awesome on the Ogre. I can't wait to see the next grow, hempy or not. And I do agree with automated watering though it can be tricky.

:bravo:

I appreciate everyone hanging in there. I have everything pretty much wrapped up at this point. I will need to reweigh my Satori 3, but I have the rest of the weights and some pics.

The whole group. Tea added for perspective.

The Blueberry Wowie. Total 25.3 grams. Low weight and much of it is light, popcorn bud but it has a kushy smell. Plant could have used some side lighting or vertical lighting. Growth of stems all tended to congregate near the main trunk. Not a good trait, so LST training or aggressive trimming would be helpful on future grows.
111410-pic4.JPG

Master Kush. Total 89.6 grams. Buds are needing the cure, were tight and crispy dry but after being in the jars for the last several days has the chlorophyll breaking down nicely. This will need some time, but should be worth it.
111410-pic3.JPG

Ogre. Total 148.4 grams. Trichs are very dense on these buds throughout. Nugs are pretty hard, though spongy when pressed. Sticks to most things. Buds can be broken apart, then pressed back together again because of the resin. Many trichomes are clear so strain could have gone for a while longer in flower if conditions permitted. Genetics are strong for resin content. Looks to be a keeper; I may need to get some Sodium ThioSulfate (STS) to get it back into seed form.

111410-pic6.JPG

Satori 3. Buds were not dense especially at the bottom part of plant. This strain craves tons of light without a doubt. Lighter nutrients and plenty of water should yield better.
111410-pic8.JPG

Satori 1. Total 77.4 grams. Its smell is distinctive to Satori 3. Plant was smaller in stature, but did better as its root system did not suffer the trauma Satori 1 did. Leaves remained green to the end. Buds were firmer and better formed though there is still room to improve though having the space for airflow has its advantages. Good resin content. Can't wait to see how both Satori cure out.

Nice work Munki, and great synopsis.

I'll be waiting to see what you come up with for automated watering. I've been afraid it's just one more gizmo to go wrong :)

I just picked up some soil that has water retention balls. We used to use them outdoors, but I don't see anyone saying they use them here. Are they a problem inside?

Ogre is on my short list, thanks :grinjoint:
