Multi-Strain Soil Grow: 400W MH & HPS

It looks like you might have a lot of undergrowth that will not see light. Just some food for thought man. I ran into those issues and just trying to keep you from the headache. Other than that They look good! OH ever think about a scrog?

I second the motion to address minor undergrowth issues.

Hey @Smeegol how is biltong & buds have you order from them yet?

Hey mr.T they good, friendly and efficient, and all depending on where you are it's reasonable to expect 3-5 days delivery.....
Nico from biltong and Budz is a real nice chap, also check out sacredseeds the guy's name is Chris and prices are also very reasonable.

Evening brother Irie sadly pics aren't coming through on my side but I agree with the guys shave under the skirt as you'll improve airflow and save yourself a ball ache cpl weeks down the line...
Was meaning to ask you how that Elvis strain is as it was making waves Cpt side end of last year...

Have you heard of the koesie sister yet, local bred Cpt strain sativa, DP X not sure, but damn she's a frosty strain..

Have you run any of the Amadeadly gear yet...?

Just make sure you compensate for head space. Especially throwing it under HPS lights. It's hard to tell though from the pictures them not being in the box. Don't forget they might double depending on the strain In height if not more. The Durban Poison x grape might grow one big cola and the under brush might get blocked by the other plants. I used to grow mine like that. When I started training LST I would mess up and train them by pulling the side branches down completely ignoring the center. That causes that center branch to shoot up being taller than the rest and you end up running out of space. Before flowering it you can always top it and take it as a clone then let the rest bush up. If it's not too stiff you can still pull it down and let the rest bush out.

Hey @Rucifer999! Thank you so much for all the input bro.
Those two Sour Grape crosses were the ones that I did not top out of the lot as they are from a local seed breeder in my area and I have never tried them out so I needed to see how their natural growth was like as i’ll be growing loads of their genetics outdoors during our next season and won’t be topping them :snowboating: the Glue X Sour Grape is staying low but Durban Poison X Sour Grape is shooting up 2cm every day. I’ve taken your advice and pulled the top down, I’ll post some pics now!
Definitely going to be doing lost of shaving on the legs this afternoon, I am picking up my T5 Florescent Light this morning for my small propagation station - so I am planning on taking 20 clones or so. :ganjamon:
Thanks so much for the advice again, keep it coming!

Ok so pics are through, def a shave on the legs...haha but your glock def has a diff pheno expressing itself might be well worth taking a clone thereof for later down the line if you like the looks of it as it grows.
But I must say I really like the looks of both the helderbergs brother.... :snowboating:
Morning Smeegs! Thanks for the input bro, I’m picking up my T5 Florescent from Futurama this morning so I’ll be setting up a mini propagation station and I’ll take many cuts later when I’m back from work:snowboating:
The Elvis is sooo good. Outdoors or indoors it thrives so well, there are growers in Cpt that have been growing it for at least 5 Years now constantly. I’m not sure where to get Seeds let me know if you find? But there is a Elvis mother in Somerset West as far as I know :laughtwo:
I have actually not heard of the Koesie sister? Anywhere where I can pick some seeds up? All I can say is that I really do enjoy any D. Poison cross.
Amadeadly... so good. I have not personally grown it but I have mates who have had great grows outdoors with the amadealy gear. I will definitely grow them soon, I think they are all regular seeds. But check out their strains they’ve got really good genetics :woohoo:
Yeah the double Glock is expressing some crazy phenotypes so let’s just keep an eye on them haha. The Sativa-ish looking one is the only plant left in a 10L pot and I think it’s asking for the 20L so I’ll try get that done this week.
Thanks for stopping by bro!

Thanks Smeegs! I love homemade recipes like that. Hahaha what a combination. I’ll be giving that a go along with 2 other rooting gels and check what does best!

I wonder if the Elvis mom is from the same guy I'm thinking of, if it is I've been trying to get a cut since last year... I'll get some more info on the koesie for you.

Amadeadly I have the Bushfire, LuckyStar and Blitzspear at the moment, clones I took yesterday were of Blitzspear and LuckyStar which came from the farm where my brother lives as they were looking a bit sorry and sad and I want to save those genetics as haven't tried them yet as my boet normally works his way through my seed collection faster than I do....haha

Oh yes @Rucifer999 i almost forgot. Scrog... I have never done it before but I do love different growing techniques. My thing is I love taking my plants out and watering them, taking a look at them ect. And that’s just not so easy with scrog. However my growing buddy wants to scrog, so stick around and I’m sure there will be an experimental outdoor scrog starting towards September! :snowboating:

Hi guys, a quick update. This morning I switched the lights of for the plants 24h dark period before flower. Tomorrow morning 06:00 I will switch the lights back on, on a 12/12 schedule. I will also be heading out of town for the weekend so this will be the last update for 4 days. Expect some stretch on the next update!
I cleaned up below the canopy as you all suggest and clipped 20 or so clones.
Almost forgot - I upgraded the 400w to a 600w for flower, and moved my 400w into a cupboard for a quick propagation station. I’ll sort that out properly next week!
Plant flipped on day 54 from germination!
Have a good weekend, happy easter, happy 420!
Peace
Glue X Sour Grape with a late topping 2 days ago ahead of flower.

@irie lion Your plants are looking really healthy. I agree that your DP x SG could give you a problem with the height of the main cola but all looking really lush
I should of boys... once I was done clipping my clones I realized I had forgot to snip the top of the Zululand Sour - by then I had no more space in my clone box and I wasn’t willing to throw any of the other clones away. Just left it with the bend now, i’ll Figure out what i’m Gonna do with that lady next week :ganjamon:
Thanks for the input gents keep it coming

Hey fellow 420 members! Just a quick update after the 420 weekend.
I was up the West coast for the weekend and arrived home 22:00 Monday evening to find the light still on (timer is meant to switch them off between 18:00-06:00) so that meant the lights were on 24/0 while I was away. No huge worry for me as the plants just got a couple extra days in veg. So Monday evening was their first period of darkness and they have been on 12/12 since then. Not much more to report, a bit of stretch here and there and I have found that my Bagseed is in need of much more calmag than the others so I will need to feed it individually from here onwards. Clones have rooted in the last week so I’m happy. Will put them in some pots throughout the week. Dbl Glock 1 will be moving to a new home on Saturday as one of my mates has completed his LED setup and will be ready for her, and I’ve got no space for her.
Hope everyone had a good weekend in their garden! :headbanger::ganjamon:
Peace
