I used to watch college basketball when i was younger and played baseball.....but never liked watching baseball on tv and just kind of got out of college basketball..........dirt bikes just get my adrenaline up......love watching them guys running them bikes 90mph on a short track jumping 100 plus feet .....crazy bro.....except when i did it ......mine didnt look as professional as them:):rofl:

What I'm mean is its a constant battle to find somewhere to ride without the police or a environmentalists having a good moan . When I was a kid we could almost ride anywhere these day's it's a nightmare to find somewhere you are left alone . But if you're a high end rider . Yes gates are opened for you .

Ha....i got you:)......i was lucky here.....we have 3 or 4 tracks all within a 20 mile radius of us so many options.....we bought 40 acres a handfull of years ago and a tractor.....we use it for hunting, but durning off season i was going to build a track for my boys.....got them a little suzuki 80 2 stroke......i had a yamaha 450 4 stroke....damn that thing was stupid fast......hurt pretty bad on top of me as well:)lol.....but anyway after i had my crash and crushed my left side they both said they were good with 4 wheelers:)lol.....soo it is just used for junting now:)lol

I suppose that makes sense :) I've never found a problem, then again i live in the middle of nowhere and everyone round here has petrol toys :)

I love racing!!! I grew up racing.. I started at the age of 6 on a 1975 XR 75 lol yes it was NEW! Over the years here in Cali the only place I would ride was the Track, I hate dealing with POPO rangers or anything of the sort, where at the racetrack all you had to do was follow the rules and ride your arse off! I was shocked when Ryan didn't run the series this year, but then again I can imagine what kind of pain he is in after breaking so many bones like myself.. The Supercross series is good, but I love the outdoor series..

Also from a riders perspective, Supercross is facking insane.. I have been around a couple of Supercross Tracks and we just shook our heads, wondering WTF if they were trying to kill us or something.. I remember coming up short on the big gap at Comp Edge and I broke 5 bones being rag dolled down the hill at 60+ miles an hour going end over end!! Supercross is nuts, I can't believe Chad is still racing!!

Tonight should be a good race!!

certain states are really open to stuff like that though for public use.
Maine for instance, has property laws that completely protect the land owner from lawsuits from injury and what not as long as he/she did not charge for access to the land. Most of Maine's land is rural and forest, and the general concensus of the entire state is the beauty should legally be open to everyone to enjoy.
unless there are posted trespassing signs and/or it is an improved area (you did work to nature to improve it with man made materials and labor)or fenced in area. You can how ever make anyone leave if they are damaging your property of course. but up there its more snowmobiles than dirt bike or atv.

I hear ya BG, when I was a kid we could go loads of places, not just to ride crossers but access to rivers via country lanes etc, they've all been bought up by private owners now.

That's the one skunny . I used to ride on a old power station and its coal fields and go rabbiting on there . It was a wild life heaven but now it's all house's and industrial estate . Where I grew up every day I went out and had adventure . But the world is a different place today . And now I sound like my dad . I do like track day's in my car as well . I just like going fast .

Hey Koncept,......fecking insane is putting it midly:)lol......first time i rode a 3 wheeler was a public track near El Torro.....i think it was Orange County we were living in, but i was aobut 8 or 9.....came down a hill and they diddnt tell me how to brake...had a girl on the back with me.....i panicked and pinned the thumb throttle...we went down the hill nad then up a little jump....but when we hit the face of the jump we flipped over and the 3 wheeler had her and me pinned under it.....i was hooked on dirt and speed from there;)....should have been a warning for later in life, but i wouldnt take any of my experiences away........except the last crash.....that kind of sucked ....bad......laid up for oover 7 months.....damn that sucked:)....but we live and learn......i learned i am better off watching the young people on TV do it instead of myself:)....and plus LB threatend to leave me if i got on another one:)....so now only bike i ride is my Harley:).......dude i was upset to hear about Villipoto.....shit he is gonna race over in the UK i think for one season and then retire:).....and Chad Reed is just an awesome rider.....soooo smooth watching him ride....even though he doesnt win much anymore still a treat to watch......tonight is a long night for me.......playoffs.....till 11:30pm and then 3 hours of Supercross.....its gonna be a late morning:)....and Welcome Koncept....hope to see you around somme more:)

The laws are stupid around here Jinn....we have 40 acres and if some idiot gets hurt on it doing what ever they can sue us.....i have posted 3 times and all 3 damn times idiots pull down the signs and cut trees, have fires, leave trash.......i have cameras set up now....have caught a few of them.......but i amm really of the mind that if you dont fuck up shit and leave trash then mme and LB are easy going aobut people riding or camping out, but the idiots always screw it up for everyone.....now i am a disgruntled property owner when it comes to trespassers......especially when they want to fight me on the fact that they are on private property and i am the owner.......real dip shits some of them are:)......anyway....Happy Daze to you my friend:)

oh you know it brother! and oh myyyyy do I know your pain!! ALL my older uncles and cousins raced as well, and I will never forget learning to ride from them lol.. I stalled it twice, so my cousin tells me to pin it and just dump the clutch! So I did, and I did a wheelie all the way into the neighbors fence and just ate it! and I was like 5 years old FFS! I think you were at Saddleback back then... Like you said I would never trade those memories, but healing just sucks!!! it makes you insane as well, I chewed off 4 different casts.. driving my orthopedic doctors just nuts.. High 5 for being able to still ride, I would if I could... But as a racer I could never ride on the street, I would just ride my favorite canyon in the morning with friends between races and trackdays... There is a road not far from my house, we used to call it Alpha Delta Niner as code, and we used to have it all to ourselves... But because of Go Pros and Google Earth the secret got out hehe.. Look up GMR on You tube, look at the Venom Skate Video as you will see most of the road from above... Or You Tube Riding GMR hehe... some cool vids about that road.. We even used to get to ride it when it was still closed on the front side hehe, but that Venom Vid is the best, even tho they are skating, I swear it's my favorite road in the world to ride on my Race Bike, it was a YZFR1...

That sucked GD. Guys were holding on in first half, but in second half I noticed Carolina stopped tackling cause they kept trying to strip the ball. There's always next season, but I wish it wasn't so damn far away
