Hey Doc....i bought the XTE 300.....and so far i like it......i can tell an increased resin production......it is a lot earlier than i am used too and it is really starting to dust everything pretty nice, but it has only been a week as of last friday:)......go back in my journal and check out the photo update and you can see where i pulled one of the branches down and over to my mars 700 to compare....so far bud size is equitable, but resin is twice as much from the XTE.....hope this helps:)

Light experiment - I bet the topLED branch turns purple!! I did a side light with one of them and sides of my girls that were facing the LED (MarsII topLED) all turned purple - the other side are green, I didn't rotate or nothing so I know it was the light. Could be the strain?? See in my pic below there's a green stalk in the middle with all the purple stalks around it - the other side of that stalk is purple like the rest ......Kinda freaky .....

Thank you for the kind words Bob......i forgot to mention it in your journal, but purple stems are common with leds....mine mainly show purple on teh fan leave stems, but i have seen a lot of people talk about it with leds...nothing to worry about:)

I was chatting with Jinn earlier and realized i had no plan for my 8 clones which 7 have roots and the other is starting.....and i dont have the buckets or room for eight more dwc buckets:)lol.....so i just got done cutting 8 2 liter bottles and drilling a hole in them....gonna do them hempy style......Jinn said they get about an ounce off each....so if thats the case....i can deal with 8 zips off 8 hempys:)

straight from clone with no veg time, average yield caries between 10-20grams (dry), giving it two weeks of veg should push you over the oz mark per 2l.

The Hempy Darkside grows!

Ha ha.....that is goood to know.....i will definately veg for a couple first......they need to put some size on anyhow as the tallest one might be 3 inches....i think maybe 7 inches would be good...then if they stretch......welll i wonder if they will stretch being i took them after the stretch?.....any ideals....?:)

yes, they will still stretch when the time comes, no matter when you took the clones. Once it gets its rhythm down in veg, it'll stretch the same way the mother plant did once you go into flowering.
One thing I would do if I had that many little hempy buckets, is leave 2 alone, top two once, top two twice, and do whatever makes you feel squirrely on the last one.
That way you can see what works the best, if you decide to attempt 2l hempy again in the future.

I was just telling Skunny that if i like it then i will find a permanent spot for them as i have them in a planting flat now....and they dont take much room at all.......
Great idea......i will do that with the topping....maybe some lst as well......i do love me somme lst:)......
I also was lazy and decided to mmake it another test to see what happens, but anyway i taped four of the bottles with duct tape all the way down till the last inch or so that is odd shaped.......the other four are not taped......so i will have to make sure to do them evenly.....one of each taped and not top once and so on:).....Thanks for another great idea Jinn:)........are you feeling any better bro?

Im very interested in following along with you! although most people do spray paint the bottles black to avoid taping or anything else that involves work =p
And thanks for asking, but no, still feel like I got a midget hanging on to my shoulders while kicking me in the back with ice picks lmfao.
Tomorrow however, I will feel like a million bucks! (unless the VA doesn't pay me tomorrow lol)

lets hope, in the meantime got in the tent and took some shots of the girls.
I was in too much pain to move the CFLs out of the way, so some of the pictures aren't so great but as soon as they all upload ill post an update!

Well the day was already great, but then a few minutes ago my son who is a Marine stationed in Cali surprised us by coming in early:)......so just wanted to say that i will be on here limited for the next couple of days:).......gotta spend some QT with my boy:)......Happy Daze everyone:).....its like christmas all over again:)

Oh yeah Peyton......he loves seeing my girls......he never really cared for getting high in school....from what he says anyhow......so i dont know if he would get into it or not....but he does like looking:).......then he gets paranoid for me.....holy shit dad that one is the biggest yet....arent you worried?:)lol.........thats why only my closest know.....and only one of my buddies knows which i can trust himm with my family so the rest is no worry:)......anyway i have told him about some of you that i correspond with regular and how cool it is that there is so many of us here:)
