Just about to take the same break my friend:).......ok done with defol and lollipop.....poor thing looks pitiful....Lady Bud walked in at the end and was like holy shite honey are you trying to kill her....why would you do that......so i had to make her relax....and reminded her that this wasnt my first rodeo and by next sundays photo op she will look just fine.......she better or i will never hear the end of it:)lol....but i know she will be just dandy:)
Also filled all my individual resevoirs and fed the auto short ryders in the 1 gallon pots with ffof with 5ml of organic cal/mag and 3ml of silica.....
My pineapple chunk is looking kind of wonky.....some discoloration too her...i will take good pics tomorrow and let you guys have a crack at her:)
And lastly, but most important:)....Lady Bud placed her Delicious Seeds Cotton Candy in a cup with r/o water today.....i think this will be a first soaking it .......normally i use the wet paper towel method or the new aerogarden, but it always seems that i have to pry the shell off so that the starter leaves can start:).....so i told her to soak it for 24 hours or until it pops and then she can plant it directly into its first pot which will be a 1 gallon airpot:).....if any other suggestions you know where to leave them:)lol

Good Day weed GDz. Just stopping by to see how your grow is going. Your harvest buds are looking pretty darned nice. :bravo: That advanced light is looking really good also. I just bought a top led but haven't used it for our herb yet. Happy Shatterday :yummy::rollit::passitleft:

I still use the paper towel method for every seed, then as soon as they pop, right into a rapid rooter plug. It gives me that sense of security that the taproot is protected by the soft cushion and moisture barrier of the plug.
And lets hope theres nothing serious wrong with your PC, I know mine wanted to act up early in the grow.

hi GD I soak my seed in a glass off water (sometimes I ph it) and leave it on the side in the kitchen for approx 24-48 hours depending on trap root. I use to put in stright into soil and then it would take approx 3 days, but now it put it in some damp tissue I between to small plates for approx 24hours and then into soil and it then takes 24-48 hours to break soil. I do get sheel still on her most times though which annoys the hell out off me..i have had 100% success rate out off about 8-10 seeds using this method.. Just read ur whole diary, so much in there, and gaining knowledge from other members input and advice, I saw a new light from top led s3nd to a grower to test and it's a cob style light but apart from that no other information was given, will have to wait for the update, hope all goes well for you and the missus.
Trying to face getting loads of clobber on to go get a Chinese as never made it last time andits fuckin cold riding the bike, ain't got no leathers or cold weather gear so it's freeze my bollox off and get home lively. Ur CJH is gonna be stacked I reckon !

The mist maker is something Skunnymonster uses.....if you have ever seen one of the small home water fountains that have the little fog machine in them......well it is the same thing....some kind of impulses and or vibration turns the water into a super fine mist......enclosed in a sealed bucket it creates a very humid enviroment and i would think allow the stem to uptake the water easier:)......the one i got is called AGPtEK mist maker.....got it on cramazon for 8 bucks plus shipping which was another couple bucks.....it comes with the adapter needed also:)

Thank you GD and skunnymonster, I've had a bugger of a time getting roots. I've only used Clonex Rooting Gel then I go into FF light warrior. I'm going to check that mister out and hopefully I'll get my numbers up. Right now I've had about 50% success rate but rooting in soil takes a long time lol. :bravo::thanks::circle-of-love:

I used to have a good (65%) success rate with clonex & root riots under a dome but these misters just keep the plants so healthy & they start to grow much quicker. :)

And it looks like CJH needs to be on the show "naked and afraid" =p

Now to business, happy skunkday my friend. Since I've trolled through all the deficiency charts I have, and didn't see a match, I have to ask what is the PH,is it only happening to older growth, and when was the last nutrient changeout/adjustment?

Happy Skunkday Jinn:).....the ph is 5.8 and the nutrients were changed out on Wednesday, but it was starting before that.....the new growth doesnt look to be affected the same....i dont know if it is just me but the new growth does look odd.....just doesnt look happy although she is still growing decently.......oh....i did soft top her a couple of days ago and still showing growth

Thank you Mr Skunny.....maybe i will add a little grow big.....i will take a look at them and see what looks good.....i have this stuff called boomerang that i think is for situations like this....to close to lights off so i will research tonight and make adjustments tomorrow:)

Well your feeding and ph levels should all be in optimum conditions. The reason I asked if it was on the new growth, or older growth, is because certain deficiencies will occur in much older leaves as they pass mobile nutrients up to the newer growth. If all of the plant is affected, the deficiency is likely to be an immobile nutrient.
It could very well be they're just eating through their nutes too fast, and are pulling extra from the old stuff. As Skunny suggested, upping their feed strength may be the solution.
