Well i figure by the time the tent comes....which i think it will be here monday....she should have a decent amount more amber on her so the dark period is just to see if it will fatten her up a little bit....as i think i will be lucky to get a half oz off this poor thing:)......but she is frosty and for being so small the smelll is really starting to funk up.....kind of like rotting fruit....a almost skunky sweet smelll.......i would be worried if she was as big as my CJH in there with her.......the funk would be hard to hide even with my charcoal filter:)lol

hehe, Im REALLY REALLY hoping my carbon filter works as advertised lmao. I live in a studio that shares the main hallway on the first floor.
Being built in 1908, paper thin walls, poor electrical grid, and NO CENTRAL AIR OR HEAT. So if the girls get too smelly for the filter, I might have some issues with the neighbors.
(not legal issues, Im ca compliant, I just try to be courteous and shit.)

Illegal in California, and harmful to both you and your girls if not vented correctly. Being that I live where I live, even if I had the ozone generator(or built one) I would still be unable to safely vent anywhere.

So I'll just hope my giant Carbon filter does its job =p

I had a cheap carbon filter to begin with.....my exhaust goes through the floor to the crawl space.....well a buddy come over...he doesnt smoke......we were standing outside BSing and he stops talking and starts sniffing the air.....he was like.....dude....you smell that....of course i played stupid.....he said it smells like someone is growing weed around here.....man it is strong.....dude....i liked to have shit my pants right there.....holy crap......so after he left i called the garden shop....not where i got it.....and he said he heard the same things with these particular filters......so he suggested a can 66 i believe....plus a smaller one 4in for the veg room......since i put them up over a year ago i have not had anymore issues....i even use the ona gel stuff and i go under the house i cant even smell it:) the only problem is the big can filter in the flower room weighs about 50 freakin pounds.....you should have seen my broke ass trying to hang that thing:)lol.....if i remember i will take a picture of it this sunday.....its huge.....:)

I havent actually looked into that as i heard about it being dangerous and i dont know if venting under the house would make it seep through back into the house....so i didnt go any farther on the subject:)

Well the Can filter I bought is pretty hefty too, and it had over 100 good reviews so i should be safe just that stoner paranoia.
As for the ozone venting under your house safely;
ozone is heavier than the air we breathe, so as long as youre actively running your exhaust fan, it will prevent any ozone from getting back in before it breaks down.
Also, run it on a timer, not long either. The saying a dab will do ya, is relevant here.
Do not enter the room/tent while the ozone generator is running,
allow 30 minutes or more for total dissipation.

I will just stick with my can filter and ona gel as i like being in my room most of the day anyhow so the ozone generator would hardly get used:)lol

2. disconnect air line
3. Boil 1.5-2 gallon of water
4. add 1 cup at a time till the whole bucket/pot is full. if you have holes in the bottom put teh plant in a bigger no hole pot.bucket while its still in original pot.
5. leave lights on 12/12 for 3 days
6. chop as normal and hang till they finish drying. now you will see it will be 50-60% dry already when you chop it. The plant has already started to cure also while drying.
7. once dry enough do your thing. trim and jar to finish cure. taste a small bud at this point and be amazed how good it is already.

See the airline water gauge its full almost 2 gallon and i added some extra to it. my humidity in the room went from 23% to 30% almost instantly. and the humidity will increase now as the BB will be drying and the moisture will end up in the air. So Tuesday morning i chop. Now only the C99 to tend too. Yeah this grow is almost done and i can take a summer break.

I made some canna cookies up last night for a friend of Lady Buds. his father has brain cancer with 5 tumors on his brain and one on his heart.....complications led to his leg being amputated yesterday...doctors said less than a month left and hospice has been coming out....well he is in the hospital right now after amputation, but when he goes home in a day or two......i asked Cajuncelt as i know he is caretaker and makes oils......if any of you know of sommething better for the pain then canna cookies(me and her had one to try them out......i could barely walk straight once it kicked in good...about an hour) which i used a stick and a half of butter instead of the normal stick........anyway i have about 2 oz of the critical kush left that i want to make into something that will make him more comfortable his last days......i know Cajun has some good experience with this but anybody that wants to chime in would be great:)

Edibles are great for long lasting relief,
oils are much more potent, and very fast acting they're great for immediate pain.
Waxes will make him forget who he is.
If you like to cook with cannabis, try rendering it down in some coconut oil.
it is healthier, absorbs better than butter(both when making, and in your body), and has a better burn temperature.

Also, it is absolutely vital that you add lecithin.
“Since lecithin contains phospholipids, the process of encapsulating the THC, and making it water-soluble and absorbable, can be completed prior to ingestion. This liposomal encapsulation process that lecithin facilitates, makes edibles especially potent, since the micelles that it creates serve as a disguise for the THC resin inside the body, allowing it to be absorbed more readily.

As if that were not enough to merit consideration, lecithin also serves as a surfactant (a compound that lowers surface tension), helping distribute the THC throughout the body more quickly.”

Thank you Jinn....good info.....i used the lecithin when i got my magic butter machine as Dennise had brought it up.....i know since i used it the last time that we can tell a difference in potency so i will always use it now:)
How do you render it down in coconut oil ?

Decarboxylate Your Trim
1.Preheat your oven to 250°.

2. On a pyrex dish or baking sheet, spread your trim out in a thin layer. Cover.

3. Bake for 1 hr.

Making the Oil

1. In a crockpot on low/warm, melt:

1 Cup Coconut Oil

2. add

1 Cup (about 7-14 grams) Decarboxylated Organic

Cannabis Trim, Shake or Buds (broken up a bit)

1 t Sunflower Lecithin (optional but recommended)

Stir every half hour or so checking the temperature to make sure it stays around 160°. After 2-3 hours of heating and steeping, turn off the crockpot and allow the oil to cool before moving onto the next step.

3. Set up your strainer so it fits snugly in a container. Line with a large piece of cheesecloth.

4. Slowly pour plant matter and oil into the strainer.

5. Using a string or twist tie, gather the cheesecloth around the plant matter and secure.

6. Squeeeeeeze that sh*t.

7. Pour oil into a pint jar and place in the fridge until cool. Seal with a lid. Store in refrigerator or in a cool, dark place.

How do you use it then......like if i make cookies then do i replace the butter with coconut oil? and if so how much do you use......or could he just take shots of the infused coconut oil?......sorry for the ongoing questions, but the only experience i have is with making butter:)

Well dont i feel silly:)....yep i see that in my instructions now:)......ha ha...thank you bro:) i looked and i have canned coconut milk and cream so i will go out tomorrow and get the coconut oil.....i guess any grocery store should carry it:)

as for dosages, and use of the oil,
the infused coconut oil can be used in place of any refined cooking oil or margarine.
So that box of bettycrocker brownie mix you saw on sale for 50cents, can easily be turned into potent edibles with said oil.
Merely take the amount of cannabis used, and divide it by the amount of oil used.
I really enjoy cooking with hash, because it makes dosages a cake walk.
1gram of hash will leave even a hardcore smoker staring at the wall a while. So you get about 4-5 servings per gram of it, I make 24ct brownies and use 6g of hash, that way I know each brownie is roughly 1/4g hash equivalent.

ive seen it at every major grocery store Ive been to, so should be easy to find.
And don't worry about it man, all of us forget big and small things daily, luckily we have this great forum and people to help us remember =p
