Multi-Strain - Multi-Media - LED - Grow

re: Green Dreamz - Multi-Strain - Multi-Media - Multi-LED - Grow

Might I recommend taking several clones, selecting to best two, then having one run the augmented light schedule, and one run the standard light cycle, then compare.
In the name of science.
I mean thats how I save my ass, as long as you're doing it scientifically it isn't a mistake or success, its knowledge.
man i would love to do that, but i dont have another room to run the two different schedules.....as it stands when i do it it will affect all girls in flower at different stages in flower....if i hadnt let my wife take the tent for the greenhouse then i could use that, but good luck at getting it back:)lol........but for true results make sure to follow LAs test when he starts it....he is going full blown and breaking it down into waves....should be good info.....mine is basically to see how it affects the stretch :).....i may run it later in flower, but i dont know yet.....it depends on what LA thinks as i am using him and his idea:)

they are nice and bushy. how high do you hang the lights? I know you got some power in there lol
funny story B......they were at 13 inches yesterday before lights out and this morning i am sittting there admiring themm and notice my critical jack herrer looked closer than normal....measured it and that girl grew 3 inches.....never have i had that much growth in a night:)lol
I did feed her yesterday so maybe the fresh nutes, but she went off:)lol

looking good GD
Thank you Welshy....glad to see you back in town:)

re: Green Dreamz - Multi-Strain - Multi-Media - Multi-LED - Grow

Me three, I can't seem to find a nice balance in my room. I'm either sat twiddling my thumbs or working flat out like a maniac.
I prefer to be flat out like a maniac :)

Im doing all my college registration/orientation stuff and managing the girls, so I'll let you guys get your hands dirty for right now =p
Once Im in school full time, that nice post 9/11 GI bill money comes in, I'll be doing crazy things like some of the mavericks around here.
I feel a 12x12 or a basement in my near distant future =p

re: Green Dreamz - Multi-Strain - Multi-Media - Multi-LED - Grow

I still use spell check no matter what. There have been times I've said/spelled a word so many times that I thought the word was fake.
I know im not the only one out there either.
Im not getting a fancy degree or anything, just an associates in nursing so I can get my GI Bill stuff, and have a job when I move to the north in 2ish years.
Then,Ill have a whole new host of issue to tackle with my grows! like how to keep the girls alive and happy @ -15F =p

re: Green Dreamz - Multi-Strain - Multi-Media - Multi-LED - Grow

Ok guys....so after some measuring i have come to the conclusion that a 3 x 3 tent is the largest i can go without giving up valuable moving room in my room:)lol.......so the point being....i need to know what brands of tents would be the best to go with with out breaking the bank?......let me know your thoughts.....i dont know if we can name brands of tents on here so if you just want to PM me i would appreciate it:).......after input i will probably order tonight or tomorrow:).....do it before the wife changes her mind on making this part of my christmas present......and of course any of you wonderful followers out there want to contribute there will be a Green Dreamz Tent Fund collection box hung just outside the room door:)lol jk  but seriously man....tent info:)lol

Gorilla for the win. I checked out every tent avaliable locally and the one that stood out to me was the gorilla standard grow tent. I think they make an economic model buti haven't seen that one. While all the tents look basically the same, the gorilla just feels like it will last forever. I have no idea if it will but to me it just felt like real quality craftsmanship. I also checked out DR and Secret Jardine. They seemed pretty comparable to me. I would probably go with the SJ if I was trying to be thrifty. If you have a store that carries multiple brands I'd go look at them. The frame seems to be the biggest difference between brands. Gorilla can support up to 300 pounds.

:thanks: for the input my friends......Doc...i looked at those gorilla tents long and hard:)....but when it came down to it for my needs now and the near future(new lights)lol i went with a 40"x40"x79" Milliard.....after much discussing with Jinn it has what i require and at a much lower price.....not downing the gorilla tents at all....they look and sound bad ass, but for the money saved that can go for the other goodies i had to pass this time.....but again....Thank you Doc....and congrats Jinn...you win the debate....you can pick up your prize at the back of the.....oh wait......no prize:)lol.....just a big Thank you for your patience:)
