i work with one of those chief warrant officer3
hes only a part timer now he used to be regular
but i work with him in his civilian job real mellow guy i don't think he ever was one of those screamer types :rofl:
 
The ones i knew weren't screamers, they were just nuts. Always leaving in middle of day to golf, said whatever they thought, were really crazy when near explosives or weapons. I worked with the e.o.d. and spent most of my time in the ammo supply point, so i saw a lot of crazy. But it was fun as hell to drink with them

Warrant officers are enlisted men that because of their specialty & school, receive a commission. They used to just get a warrant from Congress, but now they're fully commissioned.
Best job in the military.
Shorter days, bigger pay & no command responsibility.
Only drawback is that WO's usually get stationed in 1 spot for years.

My uncle was a wo in the British army and has now retired and joined the australian army so he can do another ten years and is living the dream in the sun with his young children :) but they are a strange breed of men :rofl: hats off tho to any men or women doing a great job serving there country :) much respect is owed to them :) help for heroes in what ever country there in :)

Totally agree BG.... Im from a military family.... Theres 3 green berets in the last 2 generations...

Thats uk green berets...

Im immensly proud to be the son of a royal marine....

Any soul that serves his/her country is a hero in my eyes... They do a dangerous job, some give the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe from nut jobs...

To all those that serve, you have my utmost respect !!!

And to those that suffer PTSD, i hope you find solace and peace of mind.... With the health services to hopefully support you in your time of need...

To see the apaches reguarly is an awesome sight... I always give a salute !!

3rd generation Ranger here. My dad was 5th SF group & Ranger in Nam. Most know I was. And, my younger brother just graduated from the Ranger Assessment Program & is operational with the 2nd Rangers.
