Mr Squirryl And The Beans

The seedlings look out at the late summer sun.

Mr Squirryl gazes lovingly down at them.

"Why are we so late, Mr Squirryl?" ask the seedlings

DSCN2748-001.JPG

"What do you mean?" asks Mr. Squirryl.

"The days are getting shorter, Mr Squirryl, we're scared." says Juanita.

DSCN28021.JPG

"Why are you scared?" asks Mr. Squirryl.

DSCN28034.JPG

"We don't know, Mr. Squirryl," says Juanita, "but somehow it just feels...late."

DSCN27993.JPG

"Late in what way?" asks Mr. Squirryl.

:ciao:

Hello Mr Squirryl, sorry I'm late

:ciao:

"That's OK," says Mr. Squirryl, chuckling quietly to himself.

"so are the seedlings, apparently..."

...The Seedlings like Mr. Squirryl very much. He is kind to them and gentle,

but sometimes they think that he doesn't take their concerns seriously enough.

DSCN28055.JPG

"Seedlings have feelings too, you know..." they mutter silently.

DSCN30214.JPG

The seedlings wonder if Mr. Squirryl really cares for them at all...

DSCN30181.JPG

They like the soil he made, but he is not giving them much hope for the future.

DSCN30204.JPG

"Don't worry, Seedlings," says Pointless Seedling,

DSCN30152.JPG

"I'm sure there will be a future ." :ciao:

The Seedlings turn around in amazement!

A talking Plant!?! :scratchinghead:

OK kiddies, I have a bat story. I was coming into town and noticed that parallel to me there was a hawk flying........100 feet away........and it was funny cuz there was a bat that was flitting and dodging around the hawk as if it was harassing it....the hawk looked to be paying no attention....like a blackbird worrying a crow. Well, in an instant the hawk turned upside down in flight and grabbed the bat with its feet like no problem...............which brings me to an old school saying; "a sleeping eye isn't always asleep...and a goodbye aint always gone".

The bat hunting a moth is unaware of the hawk hunting him.

Mr. Squirryl mourns silently for the storm mauled seedlings.

The seedlings chatter accusingly and scream in muted, jumbled unison at Mr. Squirryl.

DSCN3468.JPG

"...And then it was very bright and then dark again and then very bright!.. and then we fell down... all on top of one another ... and it was painful, Mr. Squirryl....Where were you when we needed you, Mr. Squirryl?.....We were helpless and alone for hours..... Soil and roots and leaves everywhere....altogether, all mixed up...where were you Mr. Squirryl?...we were scared and sore and frightened......"

DSCN34633.JPG

What Happened Mr Squirryl?

DSCN34655.JPG

"There was a Storm" says Mr. Squirryl, "We lost some seedlings"

DSCN3468-001.JPG

"Where is Juanita?"

"Juanita is in a better place now" says Mr. Squirryl.

DSCN34676.JPG

"Can we go there too?" ask the seedlings.

DSCN36791.JPG

"Yes" says Mr. Squirryl.

"Soon."

:ciao:

ahhhh, storms and nature... and nature with its cycle of life.....rest thy little hearts surviving seedlings for you shall carry on the dynasty....

and that's about the best I can do.:biglaugh:

He has an acorn infection and is letting nature select the candidates for the UB 801 2.0

They are slowly showing sex, stature and structure.

Mr. snail is snacking on the saggy dieseltonic, :rip:
