As far as I know, foxtailing generally means your buds are pretty well developed and have to start growing out in new directions. It's kind of a strain-dependent thing that I believe is more prevalent with sativas. Though I don't know how it applies to autos...

I have to agree jojo, I have had foxtails only a few times. It seems to be more strain dependent to me as I have had plants do it when all the other didn't. It's like the plant never stops stretching during flower. I love them. More calyx=more bud!

On Monday night I did a spot of training to my dark devil auto (pics will come later) after I had finished and was sat on the floor outside the box looking in and I could see the leaves moving with my own eyes (I thought I was just high) So, I propped my phone in time lapse mode onto the edge of the pot and left it for just under an hour.
I had set it to take 1 pic every 5 seconds. Now I may add here that I had done a bit of Leaf tucking but I was still stunned by the movement in just an hour. I condensed the video down to just 11 seconds.

After seeing this after some training when I got home yesterday I was straight in with the camera. Again I set to take 1 pic every 5 seconds. I left it for 2.5 hours. I condensed video into a 30 second vid but after 15 seconds nothing happens so I trimmed it down again to just 12 seconds.

Thanks my man. Killed me leaving my phone for 2.5 hours. Gonna look at doing it again tho. Need a way of mounting phone somewhere.
 
Dark Devil Auto Day 21

Fed today at 1.5 ml grow with 1 ltr water. Looking at the pics it looks like she might be a little rich in N, so ill monitor that over the next few days.

My time lapse experiment is a go for tonight. Phone is set to take 1 picture every 10 seconds for the next 8 hours. It's plugged to the wall socket so the battery should hold out. I'll post the results tomorrow.

My baby bubble, the part flux experiment was chopped tonight at day 112. She weighed in at 51g wet and trimmed into nugs. They foxtailed quite a lot and we're a pain to trim.

In water, we have pineapple express from barneys farm. She will go straight into an 11 litre square smart pot filled with biobizz all mix when I wake in the morning.
