OK chap were not far off vert stage so you want to be thinking of filling the middle. I normally go for 4 limbs in the center bent back in, then towards flux ends I pick another 2 limbs each end, but on opposing sides.
The art is to pick and plan ahead, as when you start bringing them in your still going to be growing out the limbs towards the flux ends. So were thinking ahead to where the growing tips of these limbs will end up, not where we place them at start. I've even had the center ones criss crossing over each other before going under another limb and up.
Remember your mapping out just where the heals of each limb are to be, so the end limbs take time to get to a point of being able to spread them out etc. So the main consideration for the limbs you pull in, is actually the growth rate of the limbs at the flux ends as these are the ones that are last to mature and then your flux points should all be set and off to vert land we go!
