UPDATE TIME (WEEK 7 OF FLOWER)

Hello everyone. Enjoying a much needed long weekend for Labor Day. The boy is with his mother today so I got to spend a bit of time in the garden doing a little plucking, a bit of supporting, some watering and a bit of cleaning. Plants still have a bunch of burned tips, but new growth is looking good. The flush did wonders.

Not going to dwell on the Gorilla order, simply too much BS to put into words. Sum it up to no beans and still waiting for my promised refund.

But, on to what you all are waiting for...the pictures. Nothing contest worthy as of yet, but Im working on it. Paying more attention to composition and centering and such :) Maybe some day.

ATA Doing well. Slowing down and not drinking as much. Will dig out the loup this week and start checking her.

The Shark Shock CBD is beefing up big time. Very sticky and still that lovely pale green color. Ive had to tie her branches to each other to keep her colas pointing at the lights.

She really is a nice plant to grow. Having trouble placing the stink, but she is very sticky.

Any progress on the diy? I'm in the process of building one myself. It really seems like the way to go. So far I only have the frame, the Cobs and drivers are on their way from china

Do you think the leaf burn might have something to do with the tap water? I think you said you were growing organic so ph shouldn't matter but it seems like there may be some sort of lockout.

Welcome Grim! Grow medium is a mix of organic cut with coco and extra perlite. I was hoping the soil addition would buffer the pH issues of my last grow. Leaf issues are most likely heat related...its been in the mid 90s in there. As it cools down its getting back under control.

The DIY is still in aquisition phase...I way overspent my budget last month and I have to recover a bit. I have the COBs, Arctic coolers for each, the main and fan drivers...Im left with design and vent integration. I would really love to be able to vent the heat out from the fixture. Target wattage is 320-350 from the wall.

I took the main cola of the Shark Shock this week to dry it for my neice. She had several seizures and the muscle pain alone had her in tears. I quick dried some for her and the rest is hanging. Im guessing about 8g dried. She says there is no high at all to speak of, but the pain disappears. She also hasnt had any more seizures, but that would have to continue for a coupe weeks to be worth noting.

Sorry I didnt take pics, but there will definitely be more in the future. Full update on Monday....Sunday Im watching the Pat's game at my sisters house. NOT a fan of 8:30pm start when one has to get up at 4am for work!

While browsing, I came across this awesome write-up on Bonsai Mothers. Bonsai Moms I figure I can keep 6 in my small closet, along with a cloning level. The question is, what strains do I keep.. Def doing a Blue Dream. Im loving the smoke from Azaria. Have to do a Shark Shock CBD for my neice. That leaves 4 spots. Im looking forward to the AK, and its popular, and I already have a pretty clone, and its kicking ass in my flower tent, so that will probably be number 3.

My medical goals are seizure and pain relief, and anxiety. Im not fond of a racey high, more of an after work with a beer person, but it would be nice to have something to share. Looking for suggestions. I will be taking a clone of my panama this week..will probably clone the blueberry and ice too just in case they rock.

I have two other strains that are medicinal (CBD). :thumb: Medicann Blue Blood and Royal Queen Medical Mass. They're for my wife (and myself) who has chronic pain and is about 60% paralyzed from a botched surgery to 'fix' the pain.:rolleyes3 I did a lot of research on strains that showed a good CBD to THC ratio and these are what I came up with. You are so kind giving the shark to your niece. The thing I see as the problem is the lack of lab results from the seed banks. I mean so far I have seen only the CBD Crew's presentation on their website. Prove me wrong, I will be glad. They have 100% CBD plant too, I guess you can use that with some high THC strain. You can finely chop the bud and mix thoroughly. The benefit of that is wider range of cannabinoids available. And when you mix 100% sativa and 100% indica you have almost perfect 50/50 hybrid. I would also removed the beer part of getting high. I have been doing that for 6 years and gave up on both- cannabis and beer. I thank cannabis as it saved me from the alcohol business. I cannot see any need or benefit in drinking alcohol to myself as a being. I see the benefits of using lower amounts of cannabis as one must handle medication with care. I drive at work now so a pause for me is in order. I like my White Russian for the taste pleasant high, and I have made great oil from the leaves and trim. Hey Tom! I got my seed from Attitude Seed Bank (UK). The seed that I picked did show the CBD/THC ratios. A lot of breeders don't. Just search CBD at Attitude to find the better strains. Royal Queen has several med seed strains that have a good rep. :thumb:
 
Thank you Tom for your input. I understand that the testing isnt there. CBD Crew and Dinafem has this listed at 6%/6%, but I just watched a youtube video that had a dispensary label listing the sample at 17% CBD and less than 1% THC. So I guess there is a lot of variation. My goal is simply to give her some relief that her prescription drugs have been unable to. If I find a plant that works and allows her to have a somewhat normal life I will keep it around.

As for me, I am not a heavy smoker at all. Much more liable to grab a 6 pack when I get home from work to ease the muscles. A few hits off the pipe, and that becomes 1 or 2. For me that is a win. I have been and always have the potential of being a 15 pack a night drinker. I stopped drinking for close to 2 years and it just isnt for me. This allows me to enjoy the beer for the taste without going overboard again. I understand it is a slippery slope, but so far the wheels are still on the cart.

After 8 weeks the AK47, Rambette was sent to the chopping block. I took pictures, but for some reason I cant upload them

I hope this can be fixed shortly and I will share the sticky goodness. Harvested weight was 275g, so I guess somewhere around 2-2.5 oz when its dry? The ATA is ready too, but she will have to wait until tomorrow. I am beat....
