Mouser's Perpetual Grow

Next Run Bean Choices

Good day all :) I have been considering what I should be growing come fall when I am reborn into Doc's Kit. The purple mass skunk I dropped has not done well...not dead yet, but damn close. The MoC NL is looking good..planning to keep it as a stock indica mother...so a clone from her is a possibility. Today I dropped a NL Auto, a Dinafem OG Kush and a Barney's Critical Kush in water. Has anyone run either of the Kush plants in the kit?

I just sprouted seeds from MoC Carnival and Barney's CBD Critical Kush (CBD Crew Quimiotipo CBD x Barney's Critical Kush) - no direct experience with growing Kush :)

Tell Doc Bud you are running OG Kush, etc. when you are ready to order. He has been cevelopng an OG Kush formulation that is more tailored for modern heavy feeder hybrid plants - not released yet, but come fall ....

I already have the kit...havent picked up my bale of ProMix yet. I was planning to start cooking the soil in July for a late August/early Sept planting...though as I sit here contemplating a summer hiatus, I am not sure I can bring myself to stop. Maybe I pick up the soil this week and dive right in...order up some of that horsetail I hear about and attack the coming mold head on!

I have chopped everything in the tent and its all hanging in the drying box. Replacements all came from the clone hut...another Panama 'cuz I like her, a Shark Shock CBD, and a Harlequin. Im tempted to use STS on the Harley and make this a seed grow...

Then again I have a ton of beans coming from MNS. Sigh...so little space to play.

:peacetwo:

I just saw that Noob/TRD ran OGK in the kit...I have to go dig up his old journal and have a read.

For garden variety mold, and using the kit, I suggest you go for a dehumidifier rather than horsetail. Doc's formula for success is something he supports when growers stick to good environmentals, and follow the soil and nutrient plan as laid out. He isn't a fan of substitutions. - So unless you read it in Doc Bud's posts, he quite likely will be disturbed by introducing foliars or teas of an untested NPK/nutrients/interactions. With the deepest respect - he is a bit like a medical doctor talking to a patient who is trying herbal and 'alternative' treatments along with prescribed medicines. The doc's approach to growing is based proven results, results that are proven, tested, and observed with kit soil grows.

Yo mouser, get Herer, Jack Herer. Top her and get your budchaku! I like the aroma, lovely strain. I've heard Blue Widow is great for pains (not tried) and tastes amazing (tried). Whatever you get, you will be pleased. :Namaste:

Im really looking forward to playing with the Mango Widow from MNS. It just sounds yummy. :)

Here's a little quote off another site from somebody who grew the mango widow

...... The mh pheno is complete in 9 weeks and is the best producer i have grown, double the critical skunk as far as gpd goes good smoke and very vigours
The more widow pheno takes about 11 to 12 weeks and is right there with the best all around smoke i have ever grown. smell is of the charts like a freshly bit into starburst not sure what flavor but thats the best i can describe it and yeilds decent.

I've got it too and excited about starburst flavours

And here's one of my fav quotes.. did you also buy the stones?

.

The Stones was a good lesson about 50%Haze hybrids - if you only find 1 good pheno, it is the hardiest one, not the best. You fucked all the others up!

Thanks Griz...sorry fort he delay in response. Work is kicking my tail again. :/ Got 3 days to play over the Easter weekend, so I may finally get the light hung, the house cleaned, laundry dishes done, sleep....more sleep...maybe take a nap...

Very excited about the Mango Widow...seeds have been shipped and are enroute...cant figure out the Italian post office site, so they will get here when they are ready...

I did not get any of The Stones. Im limited on height, so Ive been shying away from Haze strains,

Hope to get some pics up this weekend :)

Update Time...sort of :P

OK...I have to apologize to all for the lack of attention I have given this journal in the past weeks. Between work and family upheaval, I just havent had the time. My previous plants had to be pulled early because of the stink. Current flower tent inhabitants are another Panama clone, a Shark Shock CBD clone, and a Harlequin clone.

Contrary to my intentions I got very little time in the tent this weekend, and didnt get to hang the COB fixture until this afternoon after work. I LIKE IT! Its brighter, trimmed 40w off my flower tent consumption, and noticeably cooler than the amazon lights'

I will be building a second one for the veg closet and will post a step by step...assuming I get the time. Its easy, and with the price of COBs coming down everyone should be jumping in the pool.

So...with this windfall of seeds...seriously..theres more than 300 here..I threw 3 Mango Widow and 3 Kosher Kush in the paper towel/pyrex bowl. This weeks new babies were Blue Dream, WWxBB , and a mystery seed courtesy of a Bonza puck..thanks...NOT >.<

:high-five: look how big those straws are  should keep you going for a bit :passitleft:

How many mango widow seeds you get? Think about dropping another couple.. remember (if you haven't) to cover for unwanted males and runts..

lol I just ordered another tent. Should be here by Wed...a 3x3x8, to be lit with my next COB build...either a Vero29, or a CLU058 4 chip array. Havent decided yet, but it will become my veg/mother tent. Trying to come up with a shelf option to run 2 levels in there....
In the meantime.......
IT'S PHOTO TIME!!

I know...Ive been awful about updates....

This is sort of an Attack of the Clones. These are the last of their line as I clean up the grow. All their sister clones have been donated to various NE grows to make room for the tomatoes and peppers....I know I know...I'll have the new tent by Wed

Im hoping for at least 1 male from the Kosher Kush and Mango Widows. Time to play :)

:peacetwo:

PS: They are absolutely LOVING the COB lights....If you havent already made the switch start saving up. They are worth every penny. Beginner lights can be built really cheap using last weeks tech (gen 5 instead of 7...or is it 8 now???)

Lovely job here mouser, I'm glad I hear you are happy with COBs and I wish you continue so. You are making them (me too) happy! :bravo:

Flower Tent Update

Update Time!!

Happy Sunday evening all. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was spent with BBQ and family. Good times :) The girls have all flourished under the COB lighting. Nugs are very dense and hard and I cant wait to see the first run that has these lights from the start. Im pretty sure I would end up with much bigger plants...though Im not complaining. Its all about quality right?

She's a tiny little thing, but the buds are filling in nicely. Every strain review Ive seen shows tiny nugs...I think thats just how she is.
