Morglie's Perpetual: New Space & New Strains

Yes it does, it just looks different.
I see what you mean. Lots more leaf on mine. It has another 3 weeks I believe, maybe a bit longer, so it should bill up. It should darken up as well, as my flower room gets cold enough at night still to stimulate the color change. It's a beautiful aromatic strain.

She goes purple when she's in the harvest window. It happens around week 8. I've taken it at 8, 9 and 10 weeks from flip. I don't think there is much difference between 9 and 10 weeks and I'll take it at my convenience now. I don't lower my temps below 68 when lights are off and I don't think that's cool enough to force it to turn so I think it's just something she does when she gets close.

Thanks. My Early Bubba Hash turned near the end as well but I had low night temps at the time, so I don't know if it was that or it just happened to turn.

Very lovely smell coming off of her.

With Afghans they just get sleepier and less potent when you flower them for too long. Once I had a Dutch strain that was taken at about 50/60% amber and he wasn’t much. In general these are fast flowering plants and should take 7-8 weeks at best. After that they’re just not very Afghani, but I think Bubba was heavily cubed or whatever and still shows up a bunch of different traits in seeds. Peyote Purple is a Bubba offshoot actually and she gets purple :)

I won't ever have a plant that goes till it's 40% amber. I normally cut at the first sight of amber. I don't like sleepy meds. They don't want to amber a lot of times in Doc's kit though, so I'm not sure how accurate that is. I haven't grown enough indica to have a good feel for it.

I was looking around my garden today and realized that Ace has taken over my flower room. These are some lovely plants.

Bangi Congo x Malawi. This one has the genetics to be a compact knockout sativa. At least it looked like that when I was researching the strains. It's been 11 days since pistols showed. Maybe 20-22 since it went into 11/13 lighting. It's already doubled in height.

A5 x Kali China. This is a unicorn evidently. Never officially released by Ace and it won't be, due to breeding exclusivity with A5.

Thai Chiang Mai x Panama. I find myself just staring stupidly at this one. I gave her a GE drench yesterday and today I had to water her. If I had the room she'd be getting uppotted to a 27 gallon tote. Nothing is ready to cut for at least 3-4 weeks though. Maybe at that point.

And the Stankberries. One confirmed female and one male. The short one with the purple stem is the male. Can you tell if it looks like the blueberry muffin pheno you found? @Van Stank

That's all I've got today. I'm going to head over to the Ace thread and put up some of these.

Those are some really good looking ladies. They all look nice and healthy. I think you'll like the Congo x malawi. That one is good for getting up and getting moving.
Thank you :Namaste:

I appreciate the awesome genetics you've passed along. These are some very nice crosses. Did you save a Thai x Panama seed for yourself? This thing is a gorgeous plant, but I can see where it's going to be tough to keep a clone in check. o_O She grows like a weed.

I do have a thai x Panama in veg. She's had 2 drenches so far. I broke one of the mains so I cut the other one off and now I'm letting the 4 lowers catch up. It looks like a wild one. It sure doesn't resemble any Panama plants I've had.

Hard to say on that with those pics brother. Certainly looks like you got tighter nodal spacing than I had on my last batch. The plant will be stronger and support itself much easier and it will be pure blueberry muffin smelling in flower.

Are you going to top it or let it go naturally?

Garden looks awesome brother. Cheers.... :passitleft:

Jaw dropping dank goodness and a 5 string bass. What’s not to like? :bravo: And I’ve never met a muso who doesn’t like the sound of applause ;)
Thank you! :Namaste:

The 5 string is the stepson's. I play 6 string. :theband:

I'll be topping the female to grow her out. I've found untopped plants tend to get out of control in my garden.

The short one with the tight nodes is a male. I'm considering pollinating a couple of cuts with it. From what I've seen, it looks like the Stankberries tend to have the great structure from the ATF, which would help my P13s. They tend to flop all over like their Malawi mother. More berry flavor mixed in wouldn't be a bad thing. I'm guessing that the Stankberries are a fairly evenly balanced hybrid buzz. Hmm. Maybe Bubba Hash.... That could be tasty.

I find it to be greatly balanced....I get the immediate hit from the ATF side....and slowly the blueberry shows up to the party and doesn't really overpower the Sativa side....just brings on a nice relaxed body buzz to accompany the ATF. The ATF keep right with it and doesn't get shoved in the background. No let down at the end and I can generally smoke it any time of the day because of the balance. I just tend to smoke more sativas early on.

My buddy that generally pics stuff up off me has it as his favorite hybrid and he's smoked over 100 strains, but again he's only had the tight nodal blueberry muffin pheno. I have an ATF leaning leaning that pretty good but just not as electric and the Indica side shines through a bit too much for my liking on the back end. Still good and potent, just not as balanced as the blueberry muffin pheno.

Awesome!

I love the sativas, so the less indica in it the better. I've got a cross using my Purple Malawi and Apollo 13 that is an excellent smoke, but it's a floppy mess just like the Malawi mother. It needs some structure to it, but I don't want to take away from the clear headed sativa buzz it has. It's got a sweet berry and a sour berry pheno that I've been enjoying. I think I'm leaning towards the sour one. Blueberry should blend well with it.

I'm thinking that Bubba Hash would be an excellent candidate as well for an indica cross.

I snapped a few pics last night in the flower room of the buds developing.

The Mulanje are starting to stack. I'm excited to see how these grow unseeded. They really are starting to take off.

The Ace girls.

I'm working a cross I made a while back. I only got 6 seeds total. The one I grew out so far had a very rich, dank, organic aroma. Very nice balanced hybrid buzz. It was the strongest smelling bud I've ever grown. Crockett Dawg x Tangie. Both are Crockett's Family Farm strains. The tall one in the back is this cross pollinated by Kerala, showing off it's sativa genetics.

A room packed :yahoo:
