Morglie's Perpetual: New Space & New Strains

Charas? Weren't we talking about charas? :hmmmm: :bongrip:

Ah, I've got ya. I mentioned cobbing as I really enjoy smoking the flower and making charas tends to diminish the resin on the buds significantly, I would think.

I do need to try my hand at making bubble hash again. I guess I'm kind of turned off to hash type products as my first run didn't turn out all that great. There's a very strong perfume smell that permeated all of it and the buzz wasn't all that much. I was using almost exclusively trim that time. I've got a bunch of popcorn buds saved up this time so it should turn it much better.

I need to do more bubble hash too. Dunno, I like incinerating flowers best, I guess. Some bubble is nice, but I still prefer my little 3-hit pipe. :bongrip:

I tried my first cob chew 2 weekends ago and have to say, it was pretty cool. They only thing I smoked all day was my zero THC cannatonic, which kicked the buzz back up. I was soaring all day long, but I do rather enjoy smoking the flowers the best.
That is the way my wife likes it best, she likes a doobie best but mostly uses the rotation of small pipes. I keep one soaking on a cleaning rotation at all times...
:smokin2:Lots of smoke clouds in my house....:smokin2:

I never made a hash successfully.:ganjamon:
I've got several glass pieces I rotate between, but my bat and box are my trusty go to. I don't leave home without it, and it's always packed with some soaring sativa bud.

Speaking of which, it's time to head home and medicate on the way.

Looks like I'll have a great time either way, charas is the word used in hashish producing countries it means either sieved or hand-rubbed hashish. I love the way the braids of charas look so I think it'd be pretty cool to try it out even if it's just one branch :)

I've made bubble hash before, good stuff :thumb:

I raised the lights to give the Malawi x PCK and Kerala more headroom. They seem to be staying under it and I think they've slowed down as well. Now it's just a matter of how tall the top cola will stack on the Malawi x PCK.

The Malawi x PCK is staying ahead of the Kerala, contrary to what I thought would happen. She still has a lot of time still though, so she may surprise me.

It's amazing the difference in how quickly they flower. All three of these plants went into flower on the same day.

An addition to the yard. On my search for a good indica. Kushberry TF

I've been growing about four years now. The last three and a half of which, I've been doing it successfully. I'd gotten two autos and a couple of crappy bag seeds to harvest prior to switching to Doc's kit.

The Malawi x PCK is an Ace cross. It's the same as Violetta, but they used the old killer mother instead of the purple pheno. It's a beast of a plant. I have a feeling I'm going to have to raise the lights over it by the time everything is said and done. Oh, and the PCK that they use in all their crosses came from Cannabiogen.

The PM x UD C is actually the larger of the two. The B plant is only about 8 feet tall.... She is slightly bushier, maybe not an OG expression like I've been thinking? C is pushing 10ft. I need to snap a stem picture next weekend when I check on them. I'm thinking I'll need my 3ft clippers to cut them at harvest.

I used an old box that is tall and narrow with a computer fan stuck in the end. There are 2 wires running the length to hang bud on. I adjust the flaps to direct more or less airflow through the box. I wired the fan up to a 9 volt power chord. I've been getting 14 days before I jar them and put them in the fridge for burping the final couple of rh out.

The RH is really high right now in that room though, as you'll note in the pictures, so in the winter I'll probably be down to around 7 days, but it beats the hell out of hanging them in my flower room for 2-3 days before they are dry. It's made the biggest difference in boosting terps that I've found. My purple Malawi I just dried in there has menthol in the nose on exhale that's never been there before. The only issue I've ran into is a lack of space. I had to cram to get two plants in there yesterday.

On a side note. I put plastic down in the bottom of the box as well. I wash my plants and they hang for about 10 minutes in front of a fan before I put them in, but they still are dripping a bit at that point and I don't want the bottom rotting out.

I made a similar drying box on my first grow. I connected it to the tent through a port with a 4" hose therefore i didn't need to add a fan to the box since the tent was sucking air into the drying box and drawing it into the tent where the filter scrubbed the air. I added an air filter where air came in the drying box to keep the air clean. Your grow looks great by the way.

Thank you for the compliments.

That's smart thinking pulling the air into your tent. Passive air flow. I have to check and make sure the fan is running every day.

The bushier one, B, that fell over last week is still hanging on and starting to actually flower. These started so late, I have a feeling they aren't going to finish, unless it stays above freezing longer than the last couple of years. We'll see.

I cut the two indoor green PM x UDs today. They are nice and sticky. The purple one isn't ready yet. I'm thinking she'll be ready next weekend. These two were showing a few golden colored trics. I'll have to get a few shots at trim time. They are nice and frosty.

I look forward to your Sunday updates. Maybe they will be quick finishers. The UD is... C looks like it has 3 branches coming from one node.

Cheers,
That was just how I left the branches when I cleaned up all the lower growth. I wanted it to focus all it's energy into the fattest branches. The stem is huge, which is good. It needs it to support the 11+ feet it's pushing.

I cut the Erdpurt x PCK that was limping along. Probably not much worthwhile bud on it but my test smoke on the branch I cut last week had a nice buzz. It has this sweet berry of smell. I can tell the Erdpurt is bringing the smell as it's almost identical to the smell off of my early bubba hash. Now if only I could get one to sprout and grow indoors.
