Morglie's Perpetual: New Space & New Strains

I had the Lambnesia out of flower yesterday so I took a few pics. It's around 4 weeks into flower.

I had pulled it out to look for nanners after I found some on my Kerala. 64 days of flower, so far from done.

This was the last of my Kerala seeds. I made some F2s but with how early she threw nanners I doubt I'll find any sexually stable plants in them. This sucks, as 2 of my favorite smokes ever are crosses using Kerala. I may have to pick up some Sheelawathi from Ace's site and see if I can find some sexually stable plants.

Sometimes best sativa comes with heavy intersex trait. Well you could pop more seeds to look for a more stable female, but it’s a real sifting task requiring time & space.

I know. Especially the extreme tropical ones. That was the last one I had though. I made F2s, but I doubt they'll be hermie free with how early the mother went. I did save them just in case, but I think I'm going to look at a different source, now that I can get them through Ace. The Sheelawathi that is on their site is a line that the local growers bred to be a faster finisher. Might be a good place to look.

One of my Huckleberry showed as a male. I was going to cut it, but with how dense it is, I thought I'd give it a go with my Purple Malawi. Maybe get some really nice fruity terps.

That huckleberry male looks like a stud to me bud!
It was killing me to just cut him. Then I realized I had a couple of extra cuts of my Malawi. I've pollinated it with quite a few different cuts, but nothing as dense as this one. It should be interesting to check out the prodigy.

You should get some nice fruity colorful offspring. if you can keep the malawi high with the huckleberry structure you may well have a winner on your hands!
That's the hopes. It's an inbred line, so there's a chance for some F1 vigor in the cross. The flavor should definitely be outstanding.

Do I smell a pheno-hunt?

.
I believe I do.
That could be interesting, but it will have to be limited. My rooms stay pretty damned full. I was actually relieved to get those 2 plants out of veg and into flower. My upper shelf is full of trays full of veggies and my lower is packed.

Things will open up after planting season. I may find room to fit 6 of them in when it comes time.

@weenmeoff and while you're here, I've got a few pics of the Lambnesia I'm running.

I'm seeing signs of nanners on the tops of a few buds. I've got her up front to check on and I've taken a sampler to see how it smokes. It's only been around 7 weeks since it started to flower, but the buds have really swollen up. And that is with about 3 weeks under 11/13 where she was thinking about flowering, so 10 weeks since flip. We'll see. I have the branch in the dehumidifier. It should be about ready.
:yummy:

And now we have the Ultra Dawg 7. This is the one I vegged for a while in the 17 gallon before I flipped it. This is the plant when I put it into flower a couple of weeks ago.
This is it today.

It's gotten really dense. Like a hedge. I've got a cut of this set aside for outdoor this year as well.

Oh, speaking of Ultra Dawg, I'm cutting my first one tomorrow morning. I took a picture of it, but it was so sad i deleted it. About a week ago it fell all over itself. It's the size of that one I cut a couple of weeks back in the 17 gallon, but only 1 branch in it is still standing upright. The rest are flopped all over themselves and some supports. Super sweet gas smell on it. I'm excited.

And buzzing on the Bubba Hash x Mulanje. This stuff has some kick,.... And legs. I'm glad I kept a cut. Very nice yielder. I think I found a candidate for my next 17 gallon. I've determined that 3 of them at a time in flower isn't fun. I remember why I stopped using them now. I'm going to continue running one at a time in them though. They are a nice boost to a vigorous plant. And this is one fat budded, vigorous plant.

Peace

Nanners aren't an end-game. Those can be fixed. Man, that really is a dense hedge-looking plant. Will you need to do much leaf removal for better light penetration? I have a tendency to do as little of that as I can. I'll try to grab a pic of my lone BCP in flower right now...lmao. It still has ALL of it's clothes on. I'm sure I'll regret that in a couple more weeks when those buds start to swell.

You mentioned they were 10 weeks into flower and you took a tester branch...what did the trichomes look like?

Bummer about the nanners but she's real purty! :yummy:
She sure is. I was surprised to see big fat buds on her. It'll be a shame if I have to cut her.

She's not ready yet. Very nice buzz, but it fades about a half an hour later. None of the nanners are mature, so I'm going to see how she progresses. She may make it. I'm thinking she has another month though, so we'll have to see.
