Well since I changed the nute waters out yesterday I will not be changing them again on Wednesday. The new day for bucket water changes will be on Saturday or sunday for the rest of the grow, well atleast for the next couple weeks anyway until I start the flush.
Right now the plants are midway through week 4 of flower about to begin week 5 on Wednesday. As long as no major issues come up I should be expecting to start the flush around week 7.
Since the method of growing is DWC, you don't need to flush for 2 weeks. I just run a couple gallons of RO water through the root balls to flush them out, then put them in PHd water for around 4-5 days. That's about all it takes for the plant to flush itself of the nutes. As long as you don't have more nutrients in the water for the plant to uptake it should use up all it has within that time period, unlike soil or even coco that holds onto those nutrients for quite some time, requiring almost 2 weeks to flush properly, or atleast in my own experience with them. That leaves me room to grow a little more if I need to since I don't have to flush so damn long.
I will be picking up another pair of scissors for the wife so her fingers don't kill her during harvest this time around. I have those bud spinners that trim your buds for you as your turn the handle, but to be honest, I hate the damn thing, it never trims them as close as I like them trimmed and they tend to knock off more crystals than I would like them to. So for my own supply of herb I like it hand trimmed
