If that was the soil I started her in, it’s seedling starter soil. I start them all (seeds and clones) in that and water regularily with low dose nutes. I usually transplant to coco once they have an established root system. Your way seems good too

Awe I didn't want to tell u yet! Lol. I'm so embarrassed. I'm just laughing at how my water finger is a death drink. Everyday I learn...I'm getting a low on energy with this watering constant fail. I don't perfer asking the plant how it feels before I do anything. I more enjoy telling them "every Tuesday at 10 u will get water".Sorry bud

And old sicklys almost dry already! But it's not fooling me I'm f waiting till she begs me for some.
Old sickly is looking better than almost every plant I have growing!

thank you, your words are very kind...so stop bluffing! But she came right around. I put her under fluro t5 so she looked extra healthy! Just such a f fine line between over water and underwater but when correct, things are good!
Any suggestions for watering flowering in promix? The thread speaks a bit about it but not totally, so currently, I'm letting them sag then watering to runoff. They are heavier than veg. They would be yellow if they were this heavy in veg... Should I just be top watering like 1l(or what they can take) a day or twice a day if it takes it? That thread says give as much as they will take? Right? Lol.
ProMix HP? With a full rootball I water when they're really light in veg but I don't let them go that long in flower. My Blue Treacle auto 2 is going into full flower and it needs water every three days. I'm sure it will be every other day soon. Even in veg I try not to let them get too droopy. Mostly I go by how light it feels and if the the bottom of the felt is dry and no longer cool.
If I don't think the roots are to the edge of the pot I water in a circle just beyond where I guess the roots are based on the size of the plant, and then some right down the middle for the tap root.

Thank you yea I had one that was droopy in flower and still rather heavy? So I watered to run off I'm just wondering if I should water to run off in flower even if they are a bit heavy or just splash the top to get them standing up and force dry out the bottom kinda like I did with old sickly.
Does that make sense?

I would water to runoff and make sure the air circulation is good. It should dry out evenly if the roots have filled the pot. The bottom won't dry out ever if there are no roots down there though unless you have it on a wire rack with a fan blowing under it!

In flower I water to run off but only when the pot gets light. Ideally before they droop. If you keep adding to the top its just going to take longer for the bottom to dry. Now if your roots havnt reached the bottom of the pot then I guess you'd have to keep doing small amounts of water.

A couple of years back (before I was growing) my wife got some UK Cheese from a dispensary (she's from the UK btw). She lit it up in a pipe and we both went, "YUCK! That's disgusting!" No more cheese strains in our house.
