Monster Cloning & Seeds, LEDs, Promix & Soil

Looking nice. Seems you have the bugs sorted?? As newty says above i wouldn't be worried about minor tip burns. I find i have to be careful not to react to everything and just let them do thar thang. One reason i prefer soil to hydro is i reckon things can go pear shaped much faster with hydro. Soil gives you a bit of a buffer in a lot of ways.

That said, if i can get some clones of the current grow before i flip them i'm going to try a hydro grow in my spacebox under a LED. Nally bin sized, 2 x 250mm diam pots with expanded clay and a few plants / pot. Have not tried hydro for years and need to re-learn i think. :)

Have fun!!

Thanks for checking in P! I think we set them back for a bit. I sure hope so. I wonder how many bugs I smoke?

I also put more fans (2-12in 1 24in) so all tops are moving or at least quivering. Plus, temps have dropped and Rh climbed. Wow how fast indoor trouble changes with environmental conditions.

Lights on at 10 for after dark measure of week 3.0!

Well, more and more are requiring water more often. They are only getting 500-1l each watering in a 3g pot.
This week I will work on transplanting the banners. They look so sad maybe they they are unhappy in their solo cup homes. Poor things. They still are humped over too, they will get foiler watering again tonight to pop those leafs up!
Veg changes:
I need to do some transplanting. I need more plants in Fr2 in the next week or two. Ok I this is way more fun having multipule stages of growth and making a plan!

Fr1 changes:
Tonight at lights on I will raise the two non height gaining pots see if that will make a difference.

Feed: 5g pail
GH rapid start 5ml
Mycos 1 TBL
AN GB 20ml m 25ml
Big bud 20 ml
Calimagic 9ml
No Terp this batch.
I'll update ppm after mix incase i do something.

I will be mixing feed today with more caliMag to 200ppm AN M will get a bump too. We need super growth this last week!!!! Trim next Tuesday 21day defoil.

I have a few pics of leaf just to see if it's thrips damage, not watering damage or maybe the plant just wanted to eat that leaf? Who knows leafs die.

Cheers and thanks for popping by

Howdy 420 Folks,

It's Friday! Went fishing last night. Was pretty awesome. There are so many fish in the river now when you look at the water your looking through about 1000 tiny midges. Awe dog days of summer.

Here's what's what.
- do these leaves look like thrips?Theres a pile of pics in my gallery.
A few I'm more worried about.

The coco. It's real pale. I think maybe some of the cleaning enzyme may still have been In The coco? Leatching nutz out? Is that possible? So what I'm saying is I don't think I precharged the coco correctly.anyeay here's a few of her.andcits not the only one like this however this one's the worst. So that's why I'm thinking it's the enzyme cleaner.

Cheers everyone!

:roorrip:

Without being able to look at them with a loupe i couldnt say if there are thrips or not, but definitely seems like some deficiencies going on. Could something in coco be messing with your ph? The rot on the leaves in the first pic reminds me of when my ph got too low and i think was starved of phosphorous. Hopefully the smarter people will be along with a better answer.

I’d agree with SF, looks like lockout to me. I would flush the affected plants with a low dose of balanced nutrients 1-1-1, flush out the salts and reset. This is what’s great about coco. Test the ppm coming out and if it’s really high, it’s likely lockout. If it’s not high, it’s probably PH probs, not allowing the uptake of the nutrients they need.

If it’s due to high ppm, I’ve had in the 2000:eek:

Then I’ll flush/reset until the ppm coming out is the same or close to what’s going in. Sometimes it takes a few gallons or more with one plant and maybe that’s overdoing it??
