that's how I feel about my current acid/diesel plant. I have tried to get the nitrogen out of her and introduce more phosphorus via fish fertilizer in hopes of getting bigger flowers (because every plant I've seen that is overly green in bloom makes "small" flowers)

I'm hoping its not the genetics

It's funny you mention 'overly green'. In my drunken state last night, I looked into the tent and thought the Anesthesia Auto looked a rather dark green under the CFLS.

I wonder if it is excess Nitrogen causing leaf over bud production...

u want some bud candy combined with dutch pro explode to fatten them up and make them denser bro.
 
yeah, just saying the combination i mention works well. if u can get some bud candy that will help harden buds off better. they should be hard and dense not airy. but ive seen far far far worse. try the AN ph perfect 3 part next round mate. its really great. I never thought i'd tell anyone to buy AN base nutes but shit its good.

I will give it a try. I need to get more Nutes for the next round but was just going to go for Canna nutes again as have had good results. That said, this is the first time I've grown Auto's and the only other time I had airy buds was with a low wattage CFL grow.

I wonder if genetics could play a part in airy buds..
 
genetics will have some effect on airy buds as genetics has effect on everything! But too what degree im not sure. Ive used canna nutes for years mate, they are fine but the boosts are crap. Even if u stick with canna switch ur boost to dutch pro explode or something like big buddha. the AN PH perfect is the best base nutes ive used and ive used many different ones.

they are nice green colour, look fine to me mate. hps never does plants justice.
