Mono's Monster 2.0

She's a great dome of buds mono!

Brilliant man...

Loving the great bud bomb my friend :)

Plant looking perfect Mono! :passitleft:

She's huge! Bravo mono!

:thanks:

Thanks Guys!

Tomorrow I am going to give her a good flush (easier said than done, 56 litres is a damn heavy pot :)) and start reducing the Nitrogen in her feeding. She seems to have finished stretching and is starting to form some buds so now seems like a good time to switch to a heavier p and k feed.

I will also start the molasses after flush since that will be her until harvest ;)

Bottom feeding still hasn't shown any problems, and for the first time I've had a long vegging coco plant with no pesky fungus gnats to be seen...

Did a spot of defoliation again this evening and opened up more bud sites to the light, unfortunately it's time to bite the bullet and open her up some more - the fixed screen (anchored in place by the lower branches) is proving invaluable for tying her down too.

Hope you all have a great weekend ;)

What do you use molasses for?

In coco - the benefit is really unknown as it doesn't generally contain the living bacteria found in soil, but I have used it in coco before and it didn't seem to do any harm.

Molasses are generally used when growing cannabis in soil to improve the environment (soil) for the microorganisms which live there, in turn providing a better environment for your plant to grow in.

Molasses are basically a bi-product of sugar refining and a source of carbohydrates for the soil and bacteria living there. By giving them molasses you effectively give them what they need, and subsequently boost the structure, moisture retention, microorganism content and efficiency of the soil – which in turn benefits your plant.

Most organic growers rely very heavily on molasses, but those of us who use bottled nutrients can also benefit from them ;)

The defoliation and training mission is finally over. Four hours after it began... Some before pics just now, will get some after pics up when the lights come on in a couple of hours ;)

It starts becoming even more confusing when I measure out the grow room in feet and inches but the plant is in meters and Cm ;)

Thanks matey :)
