Looking great, got some purty ladies there. In case i missed it, what's the medium you're using?
My girls outside at 40°N.

Ok, thank you. Prolly my route for the indoor season, along with MC. Seems idiot(me) proof. Hope that cal-mag fixes those yellow ones. ✌
Yes thanks. If you have mega crop questions there are a mega crop family on here so if you need help, chime in and I know they will here you :thumb:
Keep up the good work!

So today is feeding day the last feeding they were at 27 g mega crap per 5 gallons. I also am doing my slurry test when I get back from my appointment the soil should've settled so I can test the residual fluid.
The roots are quite strong I would say 60% of the plants I can't put my finger in past my knuckle. Your thoughts? I was wondering if it makes sense to try to poke holes in the soil as if you're aerating the grass outside on your lawn that kind of method for the roots? Do you think it would work?
I feel like that might be contributing factor to the yellowing

There is a technique called root coring. I haven't done this only read about it. Using a thin but stiff wire like a cost hanger you make holes in you medium all the way down. It allows water and air into a tight root ball. I think I was reading about it on @InTheShed thread.
Well that just came to mind because of aerating grass out in the yard. So I thought the same process could work here. I was thinking of using one of my bamboo sticks one of the thin ones

I'm gonna try it when I get back

Wish I could remember where I read it. But they did say thinnet was better. My pots are like that to wasn't easy getting a soil sample it was pretty close to the top. I would of liked it from deeper.

Slurry test came back at 6.5 for 4 plants
1 came back between 6-6.5

@MrSauga
So it's a lot like what is happening to Shed and Smokey from what I can tell. There are ways to fix it but adjusting the nutes won't help until the pH is corrected in the media. You may be best to ride it out and start with new media on the next grow.

The link here is a post in Shed's thread that may help.

I only use new media

That's good. It seems some plants are more sensitive to the nitrate part of MC and when used with Promix over a period time the pH drifts up. Most plants may not be concerned with it and I know first hand I've never had an issue running MC in soil. So there is a link there somewhere between the media used and the MC product.

Here's a link to an article I wrote on the levels of N in Megacrop. It may help a bit too.

Okay got it. Should I add cal mag then or stay to MC only?
Stick to 27g

it's raining hard here. They aren't starving but I'mconcerned about the humidity it's very high so I'm wondering if I should hold feeding till tomorrow?
