Hi Momma. I don’t have any helpful thoughts I don’t think. :hmmmm:

12C does actually seem very cold to me but what’s happening to those plants doesn’t look like an effect of cold to me at all. So I doubt it’s that (unless maybe that variety is less cold-resilient than all the others - but it still doesn’t look like cold).

I’m just finishing up at northern lights auto that’s had something vaguely similar but it’s had it from the start kind of appears like a strange sort of variegation that at first glance looks like bugs but it isn’t - it’s just variegation in the leaf tissue. Can kind of see it here.
It’s similar ... and it hasn’t effected the plant in any way. It’s nearly done flowering now.

So that’s all I’ve got left for this situation - in the absence of bugs or some kind of virus or something and I don’t know what they look like so I’m not suggesting that’s what’s happening… But in the absence of all those things I can only think it’sSome kind of genetic variation.

Outside that... :hmmmm:

The heat is on here. We are suppose to get up over 30 this week which means heat is on in the bud room and greenhouse. I will buy bags of ice to place in front of the fan if it gets to much, but for now even when it reads 30 degrees it feels more like Hawaii. Warm & breezy. @Sunnyskies Speaking of Hawaii, How's our friend over there? Are you holding up ok over there? We miss it there so much. You are so lucky!! Aaahhhh anyways....:surf:

I am going to clean up all the greenhouse and get them ready to focus on flowering. I also bought more black and white sheeting for the arm so that will be finished today. I am planning on today being the first black out early evening. Wish me luck on my experiment!! They are so beautiful I don't want to f them up.

I also will be cloning the Kalashnikov, Alaskan Purple and Red Afro. I will only take one or two clones. I am trying to clean up my garden inside so I want to focus on strong strains and release the ones that no longer serve me.

I have also placed the pots on the ground. I was going to build something to raise them up but I am glad I didn't now because I simply wouldn't be able to move in there. Two plants fell over but are fine. They are top heavy.
So hopefully cleaning them up today will help them along. I see no signs of bugs however I did see that Big Bird must have flown in because he left a little mark....That's about it for bugs.

However, long story short my youngest has been staying with us as she works through life for a bit, and she has a kitten. The kitty meows alot and she takes it outside to lay on a blanket etc...but it's an indoor kitty. Well we live in the country/city and we have coyotes. I remember reading that they like pot as well. So last night we were sitting out back and they came calling for about 10 minutes, they were screeching like a wounded cat. My dog went nuts so I put him away. Then when we came inside within 3 minutes they were 50ft from the house. We could see it right there standing under the light in the yard. I am sure they were calling out her cat or my dog to put on their menu. I lost 2 cats to them already so now I don't let the animals out with out me. Do you think they will eat my plants? Should I be worried?

Aloha Momma! We are holding up pretty good over here. It’s really hot and muggy here in hawaii at the moment. The greenhouse is looking wonderful! Hope all is blessed in your world over there

:passitleft:

Aloha! @oldsmokey I hope all is blessed and you are having a wonderful day up north as well!

Okay confession.... I am not an engineer :battingeyelashes:
But I think I maybe close to something. Anyone out there see any flaws...?
the support rod that goes across when the black tarp is open in the middle for support will have a roller
Hi I just found you and I was trying to soak up some of your knowledge. With your black out construction. I have seen something similar here just opaque not black. When they do it they have a few bars going with the direction of the plastic and it rubs on that. Just extra support frames extra for the plastic.

From my personal garden. I just love watching things grow!
I'm putting a table out at my driveway to give it away by donation. If they want to donate they can, it'll go towards an animal shelter near me. I feel donations may be down for our fur babies. They can't help themselves so... why not.
I am liking you more and more the more I read.
