Miwa's 3rd Inside Grow

Good evening weed miwa. Your babies are looking really nice my man. Happy Thurweedday

he might be here..some Arabs live across from me..real friendly..gives me bread often...theybake it every day...quite good...yeah..the LBs survived...both of those insecticides kill LBs...they may be super bugs..maybe i should make them a house..got some LB food..they shipped extra..

Nice read me attached to the link , thanks. I would agree a drain to waste would be less maintenance but cost more in nutes , can you utilize the runoff for vegetables or flowers?
Wish you luck and hope to see your bounty what ever you decide.

looks like Drain to Waste is for me...less stressful..that means i can stay focus...anybody disagree ???

Recirculating vs. Drain to Waste Systems

is it the flat bread?? thats the best.. i had it daily in iraq

Flood to waste.... Interesting.

think i will do a flood to waste..do away with drip rings..got veggies that can use the waste...nute cost..this is a test..not going to use my ---..Eve is the only one to get that..i got some cheap nutes..gotta do more research...

yep...flatbread...is good..

Sweet find with those seeds. They look ready :)
we'll see..they're under water this morn..as soon as they split i will put them in cups and into the fish tank..got 2 seeds in the water...

Flood to waste.... Interesting.
shows how much i know...i meant Flood and drain...but thats using the nutes over again...don't want to do that...may be forced to use drip ring...with 1 plant...

With the right medium I could see a flood to waste system as being a feasible option , it's experimental...

Peace and happy growing

Miwa flood and drain is really no different than DWC. You set up your flood time and then it drains back into the res. I have used this method with veggies. Using hydoton clay pellets as medium. I flooded every three hours for 15 minutes and everything grew. I haven't used it for our herb and I would have to do some research before doing it but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Keeping good records of ph, and nute levels is essential. My 2 cents worth.

yep...just trying to find a way where i don't use the same nutes over again..plus if you have more than 1 plant and something gets in your res..you got all your plants messed up...like the drain to waste..just hate to waste nutes...i got worms making castings..we'll figger it out...may be able to use tea and run the waste to the compost pile...

interesting link with the dwc, it will be interesting to see what you come up with as i think ill be taking the same route at some point in the near future, either dwc or some hydro set up but depends on cash and how much equipment i need.

while im waiting for the motm prizes to turn up im running some tests on off the shelf nutrients, so far ive managed to get the dose right on some NPK 4-4-4, it says use 22ml per gallon, im currently using 5ml per gallon, i started off at 1ml per gallon and im running this nutrient on 2 plants, so far the max they can take in veg is 5ml per gallon, anymore and i see signs of nute burn on edges of leaves but when i backed it down to 5ml everything seems fine and plants are growing like crazy,
my ww x sk#1 is be tested with the tomatoe liquid nutrients, its the biggest plant of the lot, but ive got another soil grown plant using same amounts and its not as big as the ww x sk,
so just go easy with the amounts and start low and work your wy up, hopefully the prizes turn up soon and i can try these new products, but not heard nothing at all from the sponsors as of yet, hopefully ill hear from them pretty soon as i could really do with getting hold of the products and test them

I have beans on their way in. I plan on sticking with soil but I would like to switch nutes to totally organic. Any suggestions would be helpful.:thanks:

my suggestion is..if you are going all organic..check the lable on all products and do research..some nutes says organic..but they're not..only one i know growing organic is Buck...he just uses compost tea...which i plan to do eventually...
