Mg Reg Soil

There are pleanty of other brands of soil out there that are as cheap as MG and not as expensive as FF. I like Pro-Mix BX Seed and Clone. This soil is basically peat and perlite with dolomite lime added for pH stability. The advantage in this soil is it is devoid of added fertilizers, allowing you to custom mix your own into the soil. Although you need to ammend it alot with other ingredients I do feel this gives you a better product then MG based on more complexity and FF based on more flexability.

No nutes man! :-) The MG is a 3 month feed. If you add nutes, it must start in minute amounts to keep an eye on the girls, and see how they react.

Also, when you water, do not water until the soil is dry. The wet/dry watering cycle works best. About an inch down, if it is still damp, wait another day. Make sure there is ample drainage in the pots, and water until a small amount comes out the bottom. If you want to flush out the nutes, when you dry water, use about a gallon, and in about a month the nutes will wash out. But still, let it dry before flushing again.

i let my bucket get real lite b4 i water.. i just put her in flower yesterday.. how will i know when to start feeing her?
