Mega crop: Is it really an all in one fertilizer?

Well i don't wanna trust stuff blindly lol i wanna understanding why things work a certain way and the logic behind it
Lots out there about how it performs

Day 55 flower MC only

MegaCrop can be a great one-bag nutrient, as long as you don't run it too hard or find yourself with nitrogen deficiencies that need to be addressed with more MC. The high K and high Ca numbers in it can cause lockouts and toxicity, and we see a lot of growers with burned leaves at the end.

Used with water with a high alkaline content (not a high pH), the fact that it's almost entirely nitrate-based nitrogen can raise the pH of the medium over the life of the grow as well. Something else to watch.

I've run a lot of plants with it over the course of 2½ years and had some great harvests, but it can cause problems as well.

Doesnt weed need more PK during flower? Won't excess N be issue?
Maybe this will help a bit on the phosphorus and nitrogen:

It turns out cannabis plants use a lot less phosphorus than the nute sellers are selling us on.

This is a pdf with plant analysis charts and graphs (with full detailed lab analysis) done on the macro and micronutrients found in three different strains of cannabis plant during veg and flower. It goes along with two videos that @farside05 posted on page 1 of his journal, where the information is explained.

The varieties and analysis are from 2003, but I don't think we have modified the plant in the last 17 years to the extent that the nutrient results would vary that greatly today. Here are screenshots of the first three graphs:

What is most interesting, besides the continued need for nitrogen in flower, is how little phosphorus the plants are using compared to nitrogen and potassium.

Hope this helps some!

This should keep ya busy for a while.

Just so you know.... MC has came out with a version 4 now. Version 3 wasn't as good as version 2 as it needed more Silica for the most part. Version 2 rocked ! 8 oz. or more every plant every time. Haven't had that with Version 3. I just got a bag of Version 4 & will start using it in a few days so we'll see how it does.

Your v2 looks like it's absorbed a bit of moisture!
Yeah, probably so. Only have 20 - 25 gr. left & been sitting about a year. I use it for the 1 gr. per gal. seedlings.
Have you tried to use the Google Nutrient Calculator lately ? I went to use it the other day & it pretty much said it doesn't exist anymore. Can't find another calculator like that one as of yet.
