They have enuff of my hard earned dollars now. I wouldn’t give them a penny for a controller. Who makes a light that they know is going to get hot
with a un attachable driver? Awesome light 
in the Winter

Oh shit, did you move on ? Was it the
heat ? What did you get ? A lot of questions
No I’m still using it but I have to keep 2 exhaust fans running and the tent open with a ceiling fan running to just to keep the temperature from spiking. I’m going end up with cataracts from all the damn lights in my room. I should be wearing shades. CL.

No free lunch, i picked it up for dirt cheap, it lites like crazy, but she does run warm, im hoping 82° isnt too troubling to my plants.
I’d like to open it up to see how involved it would be to surgically remove all the guts, i do like tearing shit apart
you might void any warranty if you got any left. CL
do you know what are they running for drivers ? i think their architecture is good but i don't like that they are bottling up the drivers inside a housing. that creates a heat trap.

Only one way to know, open er up 
Its not just the center aluminum housing that warms up, the lite rails get warm too

Yeah I know that’s one of the reasons I bought it. But I think when I finish this grow I’m gonna put it up for sale on Cs. List and go with the @Mars Hydro FC-6500 or maybe something that’s equivalent from @ViparSpectra. CL

They get warm but not hot to the touch still they heat up a tent something awful. CLOnly one way to know, open er up

So i was at 82-83° and it was bothering me i was in the 80’s. All i did was raise my humidity output by one increment and with the dynamic humidity control on the fans it just worked

Just wondering if anyone uses this controller, i can dim the lite using the
GLC-1 but i cant seem to program the controller for On/Off.
The controller has a clock thats in Am/Pm but the timer looks to be
24hr(military time) which isnt the issue im sure. Thanx

Little did i know, but i know now, that my ac infinity could have controled my fold-8 with about $20 worth of dongles 
My GLC-1 (bluetooth) may be replaced with a connection to my 69pro for wifi monitoring availability.
I stumbled upon it in the LED light section at the ac infinity web site , they have dongle’s for all different kind of lights that can be controlled. Theres a whole page spelling out which ones work with the 69pro
My only question is to what degree it would control the Fold-8, my GLC-1 will do 10%~100% in single percent increments….
