MH for Vegetative Stage! When you start up the Flowering Stage change to HPS...Control the heat , dont get it over 85 Fº Temperature.

Your plants will be more bushy with the MH you will see, and produce super potent and large buds with the Hps.
Just give them a good size and flower them 12/12 for flowering dont forget...you need to have more than 15 hours of light for Veg and nothing more than 12 for Flowering.

They will stretch when you change the hours to 12/12 , stretch from 1 feet to 2 feet if it is an Indica and they can stretch 1 feet to 3 feet if it is a Sativa

For example: I like my plants to have at least 1 feet before flowering...to me its a good size before you do it but generally mine are bushy and trained to be small but large so your plants need to have a good size to give you a nice yield.
How much hours do you have your light ON and how much hours is it OFF?
To flower them you need to change to 12/12 this means 12 hours of lights and 12 hours without any light.

MH in the first two weeks of flowering can help to minimize stretch,after this 2 weeks you can change to the HPS.

So you do 16 hours ON 8 hours OFF. When you want to change for flowering stage you do 12/12 or in your case 8 am to 8 pm.

A carbon filter in the extraction...
