McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

Good weed chron! I got some gallon ziplocs and I'll bag the junk up til we're done with harvest and have some time to work through a run. I saw an interesting utube video....dude did a dry ice run, then immediately went to a bubble run....with the same bag and organic material.........I guess he did good. Until I've done it a few times I won't know up from down!

Mc, Freeze it, if you can.

When its frozen, hit the bag with a hammer and the stems just lift out :thumb:

Make sure to dry it after freezing, unless you're making hash,

then, who gives a shit, It gets deoxycarbolatedthingy whatever!!!

But freezing is "cool" :smokin:

Wash, then Freeze :)

Trim is frozen, bags have been shipped......do I need to grind it up before I start the extraction?, the bags should be here by Thursday......I'm doing my homework, I'm excited, the scissor hash was so good yesterday!

Very nice rico, that is such a lovely container and your form looks great! +reps my spanish friend!

Thanks Mc, she got knocked over by the storm and half her roots broke off,

so she was left with this little rootball :)

I repotted her in the new container with a Perlite/peat base,

with bonsai-soil/Spaghnum moss Root-cover, topping with mostly spaghnum moss.

I put her on the ground in the greenhouse,

then a seedling fell on top of her, then I put a few on the ground along with her.

Later all the rest of the plants fell head down on top of all the ones that I had put on the ground!

So the shape is meant to be. The shape is a survivor :thumb:

The whole thing is a struggle.....for survival......and beauty. Mine is finding its way between my poor training....and its will to survive, in a less than adequate home. I'm already thinking about how mine will be displayed.....so I can steer it toward a pose of sorts for that display. Half the roots?....nice, that will give her character!

That definitely tops my find!

Reg, No find in the world top your find :circle-of-love:

Freaking New York Love Story between Man and Plant!

What could top the Romeo and Juliet,

The west side story of indoor horticulture?

Reg finds plant,

Reg falls in love.

Reg finds another plant.

Reg fall in love again,

this time with a male called Shirley ,

Reg feels confused, but he doesn't know why!

He locks His true love Laverne in a box and meets Shirley on the fire escape,

No-one knew that Shirley was more New York than even Reg had anticipated!

That is until Shirley showed Reg his Balls :yikes:

In a fit of rage, Reg kills Shirley and eats his body.

Later, he returns to his first love, Laverne.

To be continued...

:)

good morning weed MC happy Munchday to ya.

Literally LOL Rico Suavay:biglaugh:

Good weed to everyone.....early harvest has its challenges, the regular issues don't cease just cuz I'm buzy as hell trying to keep the run staged correctly....I have plants that are ready to cut....LOL....but I have to stop and do some weed eating today....mostly just to keep my cover, I can't let on how I don't have time right now for weedeating....LOL.....but I will do it......trust me, this is the most obvious stealth grow you've ever seen....we are walking on eggshells when we whack a plant to trim........right in front of God and everyone.......I'm glad everyone is minding there own business.

Haha I hear ya on the obvious stealth grow McLoadster. Sometimes I feel like mine is so obvious that people who see it must think there is not way that hes really growing weed there...

But most likely its not stealth at all and my neighbors know rofl :)

They are starting to work now, there are signs of overnute ( the claw ), and I believe this is the result of switching to ro water. These plants were veg'd and flowered for a few weeks with well water that has high concentrations of calcium...how high, IDK. With some confirmation from some advice that shottafire gave me I made the decision to go back a little on the ro water and put about 25% well water with the ro water to supplement the ca. Now, I add the magnesium in the form of Epsom salts. In the conditions before the change in water, the plants had a mag lockout due to the high calcium....which was cuasing lockout of a lot of elements. Well now, when the pots evened back out and released the locked up nutrients the plant got an od of N and that is why its showing the signs of over feeding.

These plants have no purpose but to make me some female seeds.......if they cross....good.......you can't go wrong with these three, I let four strains go.

I always thought "The Claw" was a sign of overwatering? I dont think when you switched over to RO that did it unless you added more food than you would have to the well water, if anything it would have given you a lower number and been lighter on the plant.
Then again what do I know? Your the college educated grower MC, I think they look fine

Cheers mc I hope I did not give you bad info and it messed up your plants. i wasnt sure I understood if you meant it was good or bad is all.

They look good to me though and would like to add when I use ro water in soil I use 1/4 strength doses of the cal mag supplement in my case its gen organics version. The dose they say to give it is ridiculous at 2 teaspoons a gallon for heavy feeding and 1 for light. I use 1-2 teaspoons in five gallons. I really hope i did not lead you astray.

They dont look like they are overfed really they look like they were just watered or they got wet feet a tad.

Cheers mc. Have a great day.
