Mcloadie's Second Grow Journal

And sir, how do you apply this magnesium sulfate you speak of.......?.....LOL......my solutions are mixed in a three gallon bucket.

You're already using calmag, so you may not need it. I only bought it because of my hard water. Too much CA can lock out Mg. As for application rates, I don't have hard numbers. I only use ~1/8c in my 50g res, but that's based more on feel than anything scientific. I'll look around and see if I can find some #s for you. In the 90's we all used it, but we didn't have calmag. There was enough Ca in the tap water, and the Epsom salts boosted the Mg.

I never ran an hps wb, I gotta get one and see what the difference is.....I have to find a way to get more yield.....IDK how this runs gonna play out.....F'n timer got bumped and loadie woke up and light was on at 9:00 last night, second light error this run....F, I hope they don't hermie on me. I'm alookin for for a high yielding strain, I have to go back one breeding and get the yield back on the mexikush, I lost it with the breeding to northern lights x big bud.

Bummer man. I had a few photoperiod issues too, and had plenty of hermies to go with it. I sure hope your luck is better than mine!

So if my water is way calcified I can just use the epsom?

good morning Mc and little miss loadie:circle-of-love:

Lookin better, I have been wondering why everything just seems to be like miniature, two things have changed, smaller pots, and no co2 generators. I'll put the generators back in next run, just bigger this time!

3 gallons of water, 1 tbsp dr earth flower girl in a sock, 15 ml liquid blue, 1 tbsp molasses, 1 teaspoon calmag. Steeped for 24 hrs, used within 48 hrs.. The flower girl is full of bennies, molasses to feed em, and the liquid blue for dessert....LOL!

All caught up now! Don’t want to push on a locked door but Corey is so right about ph, I know it is a drag but it sure smooth’s out some of the bumps in the Yellow Brick Road to Oz! And I think it is a much nicer place when you get there than it used to be! If you get me!
