Mcloadie's Second Grow Journal

Mcloadie is a ceramic artis too, I had 25lbs of low fire clay so I made my own hydro growing medium.

We both posted at 12:12, a great number lol. There once was a member here by that name, Twelve12, the pioneer of the Gas Lantern Routine or GLR, at least here at 420. I hope to see him around again someday.
Anyway cool pellets too!:high-five:

LOL, the tahoe is rockin, I lowered it ta get a little height, that t5 will give the shortest IN spacing if I keep it as close as I can! If the tahoe is male, I may cross it....gotta study the strain a little!

I realized at some point in my life I've got to quit practicing and start doing!:circle-of-love:

Is that what it's called? Did I do good by makin it different sizes? I haven't fired it yet, when it looks and feels dry I'll put it in the oven at 400 degrees for around two hours to eliminate the physical water, then out to the woods and I'll build a hot ass fire and let it burn for about four hours to eliminate the chemical water...an excuse to go fishin. I'll come back the next day and dig it out of the ashes and see what I have. Where I learned ceramics at in cali we used to go to the giant burn piles of ripped out orchards and hide pots in em. The people would burn the piles and we would come back and get our pots......nice effects sometimes. I am really attracted to primitive techniques, and primitive ceramics in general. I have some nice coil pots I made, but with commercial clay. I have harvested clay, ammended the body, hand formed pots and fired em in primitive manners..........very rewarding!
