Mcloadie's Second Grow Journal

I'm excited to see what that induction lamp does! Looking great so far!

Only ten girls next run.....3/4 mexikush....1/4 still undecided....LOL. Seeds are expensive, and I'm thinkin the ones I produce should be too! I have NEVER had a seed do anything I didn't expect it to...seeds I produced. If I had more room I'd dig back into the books....breeding isn't difficult.....it's complicated......when I did it before I had to have the charts in my face the whole time I worked, and if 1 single thing gets done wrong...the whole fn mess is spoiled...I mean you'll get something......but if done correctly the results can be accurately forecasted....I mean accurately!

keep up the good work my good friend. Can't wait to see both of our air cuts in a couple of weeks. Did I mention that yesterday was day 8 in my aero cloner and almost all of the OG Kush cuts had roots, bumps or both:). So glad we were both able to build a homemade one and show they really do work. Can't wait to see your next couple of projects

reps buddy Looking great! your gona be in for a nice harvest too my friend! i was looking into induction lighting the other day , how much did your one set you back in the wallet the ones i saw where fairly expensive

Yes sir, I'm believing that alot of the time variances we're experiencing are strain related. Everything always roots, some just take longer. I'm going to make the modifications I've mentioned, and call it a day on the aerocloner, then, I'll convert it over to an aeroponics growing configuration and I'm running two plants in it for the next run.......my first hydroponic application......w
ith the exception of rooting cuts.

Caramello and her 15$ carbon fiber stake. She's giving her all...which isn't very much....LOL. I let her run wild to see if that was the issue for the low yield, nope....she has donated her body to science and her mother will become the stock for the grafting demonstration.

The mexikush practice plant, She's so lovely I put her on a pedestal! She's poised to produce although she's a little lighter in the bottom than I'd like. The top is blue enough, absolutely no burn, the leaves are all tipped. She'll get at least 2 more doses of bloom nutes and one shot of 3-3-3, which means I'm projecting a month til she's fat enough for my jars. I'm pushing this plant as hard as I dare. She's expressed some interest in the pom competition.

The orphan, auto?, she's grateful that she found a home ( she has no mother ), and she aims to please, I have a hundred of her sorry seedmates, which IMHO are moldy, and it took 20 seeds to get one to work, terrible viability....her smoke is going to be exotic.

morning Mc, good idea using a bolt for a plant stake :)

While victorinox makes grafting knives, and this is a victorinox knife, it isn't the grafting model, it WAS a serrated steak knife like model. After a little work on the grinder, and a little work on the stone....voila!......a grafting knife! This mfer is razor sharp ( I mean it shaves hair off my arm! ), and will be used for our grafting demo next monday. The knife I learned to graft with was very similar.

I did a practice graft, a simple whip graft.

This is what a failed whip graft looks like....LOL.

The air layer. they always look the same, I'm just wanting to see roots thru that plastic......maybe 2 or 3 weeks.

Lol looks like your strapped some steaks to ur plant there man ; P :bravo:

The practice graft presented some problems. This is 75% smaller material than I ever worked with.....approx. 3/32. The thread tape I planned on using for the wrap was in my flower room in dark cycle, so I improvised with some fine red thread that I use to braid bells on my facial hair with. I used chap stick like lip stuff for grafting wax..................fall back, regroup, attack.......
