McBudz Perpetual Journal

wow extremely well organized + rep
i haven't read your other grows, what was your initial investment?

This is hard to answer. There was no "initial" investment per se. It has been a work in progress over the last year and a half. Started out with 2 x 400's in a closet. Got a DR150W tent. Upgraded to 2 x 600's. Tried different nutes pest control etc. Experimented with different cloning methods and systems.

If you want to talk about what I have in use today well...

2 x Ebb and Grows =$900
1 x Airpump (2 outlets run airstones in barrels) = $20
3 x Upgraded water pumps (1 for flood table 2 for ebb/grow fill pumps) = $75
1 x high capacity water pump for emptying barrels = $30
30ft 3/4 inch vinyl hose for draining = $30
5 x 50l bags of hydroton = $200
2 x 600W Lumatek ballasts (plus 1 spare) = $700
1 x 400W Lumatek ballast (plus 1 spare) = $360
HPS bulbs = $300
1 x DR240W dark Room = $500
1 x 2ft x 6 bulb T5HO 6500K floro = $200
1 x 2ft x 2 bulb TT55 6500K floro = $140
2 x 450CFM 6 inch fans = $300
1 x 40 pound carbon filter = $150
1 x variable timer for ebb/flow table = $85
1 x ezclone60 = $350

Nutes, extension cords, timers, ducting, chains, oscillatings fans, fittings, seeds etc etc who knows. easily a couple k over the last year. It adds up.

Great info on the nutes. Thanks.

Got another question please. How big is your reservoir per number of buckets. And is that the Texas controller or the other.

:thankyou:

I have the ebb and grow, 2 of them actually. Each one uses 55 gallon drums for reservoirs. 55 / 12 =4.58 gallons per site. I believe the texas controller is for the waterfarm..

That is a beautiful list bro, anyone would do great to copy this one to one. my system probably cost as much as yours, but performs no where near as well. . . I'm thinking for my next grow I'm gonna get an ebb n gro and see what CAP has to offer.

Week 5 pics and 10 days in for the newly flowered clones.

These clones are 7 days olds except for the 2 in the middle towards the bottom of the pic. Those 2 were just cut today. The rest are 7 days cut and were dipped in vita-grow and the res was filled with just RO water.

roots: (now that roots are showing added 30ml A+B aqua flakes to the ezcloner res. )

Lookin great as always man!

It seems as though the Nemesis mom recovered very nicely.

The girls in flower look tasty! The Nemesis looks like it will be treating you well throughout the next few rounds...

Clones looks top notch as well!

Nice work as usual man! Thanks for the update... :ganjamon:

:goodjob::goodjob::goodjob::goodjob:

all i can say is that shows just why your Grow Support:rollit:

just wondering what dispensary could i fine some that at?

I grow for myself and the few I am a caregiver for. I do not deal with dispensaries.

Simply WOW!!
Those are some happy girls you have there. I was looking at your equipment list, and I feel like I am a few steps behind you. It's amazing how easy it is to spend money on this hobby. My first run cost me about 3.5k, and I managed to spend another 1k on improvements for second run.... I am strongly considering getting another ebb and grow and running a perpetual like you. Thanks for all the great pics and ideas.

Damn nice...just beautiful.

Tried to rep you...but you know.

Yeah money def does get spent setting everything up the way you want it. But once you are dialed in you just have operating costs which are not all that bad. Looking forward to your next grow man
