" i like me some GFGs ". hope to grow me some we shall see. we got roughly 30 days plus id say 1 week as i want to do all of them in a 48hour dark spell but the lemonsourdiesel takes longer on average than the rest of them so we shall see what i decide to do.

Hey max... lookin good...

Personally, I would defol... I've falled into the pattern of several long time growers who I am subbed to, defol around day 21-25 and again around day 45. That said, if a leaf is touching or covering, I'll pluck any time as long as it's not the only leaf on that node. I have noticed a marked improvement on side branch development as well as on bud development doing this... but from what I understand, some strains don't like it, but most are cool with it.

Probably good to defoil under artificial lights, some leaves just don't worth it, and the plant can't know that in advance. Most growers do it and say it helps.
I didn't, because i was stupid and did not want to hurt them

Thanks yeah ive done 2 defols but cant recall on if i did both in flowering or not. seeing as we are at 28 now, i think i may give them the time to take up the higer dose of nutes so that i dont get any nute burn and then when i do my next plain watering ill do a defol so that should be in around the weekend sundayish.

anyways ive been looking into blue dream the strain and it seems to be bang on the money.

Hey Max... BID grows Blue Dream and has for a while... check his journals or drop him a line. I know that up here in the PNW it's fairly popular at dispensaries as well. My Dynasty mom donation was largely because my guy out here is switching to GSC and Blue Dream, so let vortex and dynasty go... wish I had gotten the vortex mom as well, but that one went a couple months ago. BID could give you some good input into that strain though... it's one of his "goto" strains and his girlfriend prefers that one as well.

Yeah i know ive seen BIDs work, i checked a lot of the strains that people were growing on the forum so that i know i would be able to get input from them if i needed it and well his grow and a few others ive seen and the descriptions and reviews have convinced me.

I am thinking of making a movable scrog unit that is attached to the aqua farms also i was thinking of using different sized pvc pipes for the top and bottom so that depending on the strain etc i would be able to move the screen and lock it into place. also this would allow me to work with the plants a lot better. just some thoughts i've been having. To add to that i was thinking of dividing the tent in half with about 5cm on each side of wiggle room from the scrog. so my tent is 1.20 x.1.20 the area the combined scrog will cover is most likely going to be around 1.10 x.1.10 this will allow for me to be able to take them out if i needed to to be able to work on both aqua farms. so instead of the scrog fitted to the tents structure or something where ive seen a lot of people struggle to get to the bits in the back so i thought id make it a bit easier on myself.

I have been thinking about the same thing, except with a 5 gallon DWC stand alone unit... PVC framing to the bucket to hold the screen. I've seen it done in one or two journals and it worked out well. I think in the closet I will just attach a screen, but it's not that deep, less than 2 ft.

July 20th

Hey guys so a little update. I had a hardcase of food poisoning from something. It was the worst i ever had loads of puking, then getting really hot after it then shit loads of sweat, then id get fucking freezing i had to jump into the hot shower so much today. went to see a doctor the bitch kept me waiting for soo long, anyways she gave me meds at around 4 i had 2 dosages of the stuff i ended up throwing that shit up too, and oh boy did it taste lovely stomach acid as there was nothing left to get rid of i think, and the taste of those awefull meds, they kinda helped but not that great. then around 8pm i was like fuck this sparked the first J of the day and instantly felt better i dont know if it was only the weed or not or if i had also sweat and threw everything up that im getting a bit better now. im really really low on pot and in no condition to be runnning around town so yeah being easy with what ive got for today. about one nice one or two little ones.

Anyways i had too have a look at my ladies and damn they look fine. sorry that the hps lines are in but its an ipad lalala so i hope you enjoy, and i hope you can tell the difference between the plants. Frosty tits is the nebula, suggar tits is the hashberry atm and the one with a bit more weight and a touch lankier than the rest is the LemonSourDiesel, and the not so developed on lagging a bit behind is the Northern lights, but im sure she'll catch up soon. PEEEAAAACCEE!

Fuckit ill name them sorry for the vulgarity but im pissed off that im sick again and having such a miserable week but must cheer up as its fathers birthday today.

I really am enjoying the Nebula awesome plant was a random pick i had no knowledge about her but damn shes sexy!! The say shes a low yield-er around 20g's or less so im curious what she'll shape up to be as currently that looks more than i had in the pc and that was 15g so MEOW!

If you were to take some suckers off now would be a good time to do it. I still am not keen on a big leaf removal all at once but if you cant move it get it out of the way. Myself I like just to pick off a few every day

Thanks fish buddy and thanks again for the reps Um yeah i picked a few from the nebula that were in the way of some much needed light for some of the buds. If i feel 60% tomorrow ill have a look at the girls when lights come on and take a few leaves here and there. i cant really seem to do more lst as it just results in the tops hitting the tent and getting messed upshaped fan leafs that kinda look like meh i dono im sure you all know what im on about. But yeah im just loving the way it looks im really looking forward to doing my first time topping/fimming i still dont clearly understand the difference as some use the same word for the same process so im tripped out but i want to do that thing that produces more shoots for a short ass bushy plant

Sorry you're sick Max... keep your water level up, it'll help ... salt too... and yeah, cannabis has anti nausea attributes in several of the cannabinoids, so that helped.

And yeah, after setting up the tent today at 4ft x 4ft, there's no way I could reach the back if I put a stationary screen in. If I ever do a screen in that tent, it will have to be attached to pots and able to be moved with them. I wouldn't be able to maintain it otherwise. In a 2x4 tent, no problem, or those odd like 3ft x 20in. tents would be even easier, but 3x3 and bigger, no way.

Yeah i think im going to take some more anti nausea from the docs and that stomach lining protection stuff and see if i can keep it down this time round going to smoke a j in a few as well so should help.

Yeah thats the conclusion i came to when looking at all the scrogs going on here and you tube and if you have space to work around it i think its fine but in a tent with a solid corner in it i think its a bit tedious. I think being able to get to the whole plant is important so yeah going to go with mobile scrog.

Thinking of doing a first test run of the aqua farms with some autos to see how it all works out and then make a scrog. Easy does it dont want to go head over board plus if there is the addition of the led then you know will be a steep learning curve yet again. its awesome! If only university were this interesting :/

Uni would be more interesting if you switched your classes to botany, horticulture and permaculture studies... of course, they'd be talking "bean crop" and you'll be thinking "cannabis crop", but the skills are still the skills... lol

Seriously, find a major you enjoy or are deeply interested in, you'll do better and be happier afterwards, trust me on that.

I know but ive got a year left if they don't decide to kick me out cuz i didn't understand the school rules properly. But i read that you need to have done bio or something in high-school that i didn't take as i didn't take any sciences :/

The thing is i have no idea what i really want to do its always kinda changing but kinda always in the same direction. I had a vision for the future once its all legalized and such. That i buy a land or rent whatever and then plant a ton of hemp. crop it then dry it get limestone and build a house of the hemp that grew on the land then figure out some irrigation etc, solar panels will have evolved and be the tits by then. Wind turbines will probably be more efficient. then live off the land, own grown veges etc. and somewhere warm and with a beach and surf that be the epic location that ill be searching and planning for as everything evolves over the years. We shall see im still young and got a ton of time, plus look at some of the richest people on the plant some, a few, a lot whatever your opinion a lot have dropped out of collage or didnt even go.

Plus moneys money doesnt really mean shit in the terms of ones happyness some of the poor/middle class people of todays society are much more happier than those swimming in it. I am much more in peace and happier after a surf or a good cruise on the board than i am when i bought something shinny! unless its got sentimental value.
