Max's PC Grow Box Journal - 2013

Oh btw guys this is my thinking with the feeding scheduled one more time with floral nutes and then after that only plain water and give them one or two big flushes of loads of water to drain out the remaining nutes to let the flowers totally develop their own taste at the end there. let me know if this is a good idea or not. just so you know how long the minimum dates are for the two strains the euforia is on 14 days left and the chronics min is 17 now. im going to be giving each one though another week so should that be 2 feeds of nutes or just the one and the rest just water.
 
Cool max I'll check my pms just now. All sounds about right to me with ur flushing. That's how I usually end but iv read a few journals kately of people adding things into last waters one being coconut sugar of something like that I'm going to do my research as to why I'm guessing so tge buds maybe take on some swetness. If that's the reason iv thought of doing it but on the othher hand not sure I mean buy expensive seeds and change the tast? I could do one and leave ine I guess

is that your made joint ? the head looks big and like its added whit paper glue sides like a cross joint right?
 
you can youtube it i guess haha its easier that way. tulip joint had a pic of a cross joint that i made a few weeks ago same situation but i think i deleted it haha. oh well. ladies are looking good soil still felt slightly moist still so feeding is tomorrow.
 
Sweet I'll you tube it now. How are u dealing with odour control max? My girls are stinking out my house as if there about 4 weeks further on lol I'm going to have to make another carbon filter this coming week I threw my last one in the trash should of kept it
 
Hahaha sorry to hear about you throwing out your filter. Did you do a makeshift one from something or did you order one? The thing i did seems to be working really well tbh there is minimal smell out of the box unless it gets hot and my balcony door that i have isnt open then it can smell a bit but for instance atm i dont smell anything might pour some more active carbon down the center of the vent to increase the load the air has to go through maybe that will help a bit but yeah as said all good. watered the ladies today they are smelling awesome and starting to get slightly sticky pressed one of each bud the euforia smell pretty darn good. had an accidental chop of the euforia a few days back had it dry out a bit and had a mini taste its rather smooth and light fruity cant wait till shes developed and had time to cure.

and to add theres more of a smell when i open up a jar of medicine then there is from the case :P
 
Oh I also did some looking up regarding the possibility of them being hermis as of worries expressed as i had the case open a few times to have a peek at them during dark periods. As far as I can establish I should see the changes have happened by now right? because from what i can tell no hermis here! lets pray it stays that way :P

Hey yea I think ud no usually by now if they were going to hermie althou I think they can hermie any time. I'm sure urs will be fine max :) in previous grows iv peeked lots and been ok. This one is the first that my lights regime has been strict. Yea I made one last time for about a £10. Feck paying £50 + for something I can make lol

I love frosty buds. Usually all my trim leaves ect gets thrown out. I'm going to have a go at making a gram or two of hash at the end of my grow. U should do the same max. Shame for the frosty leaves to go to waste

other thoughts ive had. seeing as the SLH (super lemon haze) is a sativa hybrid i guess you could say it like that or sativa dominant sounds better. Okay to the point sorry stressy day had some medicine :P um fuck the point um i dont want it to take such a long time so i went down to my grow store and checked out the clones turns out they are 3 week old vegged clones and the list below is the choice i pretty much have for next grow to consider for as i want a faster grow with such a limited space if you get what im saying :P time = weed in this case.

One thing i want to say is dont worry about the hermie , just make sure you only open it when you need to work on something in there.

i was doing LST and the stress can cause them to flip (more in female sexed seeds as well)



And Hands down do the Pineapple Chunk or AK47 or both
 
Hey max id stay aways from the autos peronaly if ur aimaing for yield
With autos u don't control the veg times

Id go for super silver haze.... just my opinion max
Iv seen it grown well under lst and its a super smoke
Id just go with it with ur origonal plam of one girl bang at one end trained all the way to the other
Or starting in the middle then fimm/top and train one branch left one branch right

One worry though would these clones not be too tall for ur box already max? If there a few weeks vegged?

okay its kinda a loop hole in the goves laws. So your legal to veg a plant and grow etc but as soon as you go flower mode its a naughty list thing :P its 9.50 for one and no the clones are not too big as they ones i am growing now are exactly the same ones that i got from that store if you look at the pics i first posted that's how big they are sold. they sometimes have mothers too :P and i walk to the store 6 mins if you walk briskly hahaha. Yeah i think im going with the original plan of starting off at one end and going all the way to the other side. I have never opened the case after lights out since mono told me about that if im correct i think it was him he seems to have left this thread sadly helped me loads at the start of this grow. Shout out to Mono get your ass back on my thread! <3

hmm so yeah maybe ill do a fim scrog in there after the next grow, oh and as to the autos i wasn't considering them although greenhouse seeds have an auto that yielded 180g or something ridiculous in like a 60 day time from seed to harvest something absolutely crazy if you'd like me to find the vid i can check for it for those interested in a crazy auto.

Ill give the suggested strains a read over later were going to watch the movie called MAMA now in the living room ought to be good word on the grape vine. anyways thanks for the strain suggestions keep'em coming if you see a strain you loved to smoke id really love something flavor rich from the selection even better would be if it was good yield, flavor orgasmic, and head high for creative working on assignments and shit.
