Mastrmasn's 1st Cycle No Till Gorilla Glue

Someone should develop a pack of minerals you add to RO that brings it to the equivalent of rain water minus the chlorine. The guy that sold the soil told me said to use tap and didn't push the nematodes. Don't think he understood I wanted a LOS setup. I mentioned the coconut water and he said I didn't really need that. But the proof is in seeing. And from what I can tell your plants look great!!!! What are you PHing to? Do you ever water to runoff? I used to use GH silica in coco but which do you use in LOS?

I am sure all the extra steps in setting up a LOS system is worth it. I just never made the decision to make the switch. I am also sure the end result proves a remarkable difference from using chemicals.
I dont pH, no real reason to unless you think it might be just insanely off like way above 7 or way below 5.
The soil will adjust itself within reason.
Most of the time I water I have run off, my soil is very porous, I can dump 16 oz of water on my pot and it's just like pouring it onto a screen door, instantly gone.
For silica I use Gro-sil which is 99% pure silica from rice hulls.

No problem I'm new to no till also. One thing though, I'm 3 weeks in and the results so far are amazing. It's been 36 hours or so since I topped. They've doubled in size already. No recovery needed. So im only assuming that my soil is close to perfect it the plant so healthy that a hefty topping didnt slow it down a bit. I'm loving no till so far.

Day 22

3 days since topping and here she is. Didnt skip a beat. She's not getting vertical much though. Shell be a bushy one for sure. It's going to make it hard to train the quadline. But oh well lol.

This one is the WWxGDP I'm hoping she's a she so I can hit her clones with some sts. She's not in LOS just CSM, compost and pumice but she gets everything the LOS container gets. And she's looking really nice so far.

Looking healthy!

If anyone has experience with worms. How can I tell if they took to their new home? Alot of stuff I'm reading and watching have people lifting their mulch to reveal the worms hard at work. With my clover I dont have anything to lift up.

If they dont like it they'll be crawling out of the pot.
Its usually a good idea to get some barley straw in there somewhere to get a good mulch layer.
As long as you have a mulch layer plenty of food and aren't using any synthetic nutrients they should settle in.

Day 25

Training day!!!

The quadline is starting strong. I plan on spreading her arms and cover the entire bin before I let her stretch those legs. All depending on the veg time.

I keep chopping down the clover around her every few days. Hard to see her in all that lush greenery but she's there.

Day 34

Quick update. It's been 9 days since I started the quadline its bushing up nice. Vertical growth is a tad slow for my liking. But she's looking great other than that. The LOS I's working out great. Second pic is the WW x GDP its about the get topped. After that I'll clone her and get the STS ready.

Day 39

Started to tie down the inner branches today. The 4 mains are almost at the edges of the bin. Everything looks healthy so far. Really no complaints with this LOS.
