I have to say I prefer my FC-3000, but since I dont have one of the SP series I can’t say what the differences are in the overall effect on a grow.

What I CAN say about the FC series is that it ROCKS! Lots of great light, nice even and square coverage, and the driver is removable so I can keep the excess heat out of my tent.

I LOVE my FC-3000!
