Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Testing my MarsPro Lights with just the Red only on.
It made my Red Peppers look creamy white, and the Green Led Light on the ceiling makes them a rich dark purple.

Man I am loving my Cree128 lights so far.

Took me a while to get used to Programming the Remote.
I am going to program two of the thee remotes the same, since one will control all three Led Units, just in case one remote quits working.
Next programming will be the 12/12 cycle with Sunrise and Sunset.

Well Neil...

The Problem is...

After I hit too many "Likes" it disables the "Like" Button for exactly 13 minutes....

Catfish you hit the wrong button again my like button has disappeared again:)

:circle-of-love: great to know that, Brian. :cheertwo: We have been worried for some time. Now problem has solved.
I finally got the Mars Pro Epistar 160 LED to start working properly. i didnt do anything to special to fix it just set the timer and intensitys over again so im thinking it was user error lmao whatever it is im glad its working w/o problems and will be upping the intenseity for pre flower as the Dark Dragon plants i have under them are starting to show sex and will be placed into there final pots under the SCROG net and some cuttings taken for clones in case i find a keeper pheno. join my tester grow in my signature to follow along :thanks:

:ganjamon: haha, we will test every new light before shipment to make sure everything is ok. :Namaste: You are happy, so we are happy.:hugs:
Well it has been about 3 weeks since I have installed my (3) MarsPro Cree128 Led Lights and testing them in a 16/8 Light Cycle every day.
It looks like all the Leds are still working and have not burned out.
Whew... Glad Ruby in China tested them for about 2 weeks and replaced the bad Leds as they went out with the newer updated ones.
So far I am still smiling... :)

haha, that's correct and very cost-effective.:thumb:
I would put two lights in that space, either 2 of the Reflector 96 or two of the Mars II 400s. Personally I would go with the reflectors, save a little cash and have a little more light.

:circle-of-love: Hi Stoney, you can open the case and clean the glass with dry cloth.:)
Hey Sara I got a Mars 300watt a few months ago and the inside of the glass is all dusty how do you recommend cleaning it? Thanks

My dearest friends, yesterday is Election Day in US and Remembrance Day in Canada. Some orders yersterday haven't shipped out. Sorry about this. :circle-of-love: The warehouse will take care of them today.:Namaste:

Here's an update from my Mars LED SCROG, now 30 days into 12/12........almost halfway into flower. I am running 5 plants (3x Female Seeds C99, 1x Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel and 1 X Sweet Seeds Green Poison) in an ebb and flow system under a 6.3' x 3' screen. I've got 2 x MarsII 900 and 1 x Reflector 48 for a total of about 960 actual watts of Mars Hydro LEDs. So far, I'd say my plants are happier and I am further along than I have been at this point in the past using HPS. C99's are stacking up nicely, and the two indica strains both have some fat and dense bugs already. All strains are extremely frosty for only 4 weeks in. Hoping my ladies continue to pack on the weight in the coming weeks, very happy with these lights so far.

Just wondering...
Since I put my Grown Pepper Plant in my Grow Room to Test the Cree128 Led's... Will the plant react in a different way? Going from Sun to Led's? Shock or lite yellowing or whatever?

Sometimes I have seen plants react to LEDs , from reading I've done this seems to happen from plants adapting to light from inferior sources and once under LEDs they have to adjust. We recently changed out the t5 we were using for cloning as this seemed to be the problem, they looked horrible once transplanted and put under LEDs , took about 3-5 days to recover , now we are LEDs from mom to clone to finish and they look great and never stop growing , it's amazing what the correct spectrum will do :)

I have never taken a full grown pepper plant in from the outside, I start them from seed and grow them indoors. My brother took four pepper plants in from outside in Ohio just last month and put them under a T-5 light fixture, he cut them back heavy and they have rebounded and set flowers and are producing habeneros now.
