Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

One question re light heights... Is the recommended 24" to be maintained constantly or do you let the plant grow up into it....? Trying to gauge minimum height for a grow space...

Measure periodically and raise lights as you go. if plant starts to stretch, lower it, if leaves start to go weird, raise it.

Cheers for that Equanimity.. So I'm reading allow about for about 30-40" but hope I don't need it....

In my flower tent, I leave the light at one height and raise and lower the pots as needed. I had an old box of 6x6 bathroom tiles that work perfect. Just stack as many as I need underneath and as the plant gets bigger, take some away. this keeps all my plants at the same level. :peace:

day 29 update,

When exactly will this happen?

I am on the east coast US. Mars-Hydro emailed me a packing label, shipped it out ups to the repair center in Pittsburgh PA and they repaired it and sent it back. I sent it out on Thurs, They got it on Sat, sent it out Mon got it Thurs. Exactly 1 week sent fixed and returned. I am sure when the get back into the office (9pm or so EST) the ball will start rolling, :) :peace:

and here are the dark dragon seedlings also getting side lighting under the 144x5. the light has been awesome with no problems with it running on 18/6 and only the veg lights on and ill be adding the bloom lights in about a week

:circle-of-love:Hi santb, kind of same question asked before. :cheesygrinsmiley: Either way is OK. It seems that many choose to let the plant grow up into the light. :Namaste:
