Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Hello sara been reading up on your lights and great service. How would a mars2 700 do in a 3ftx20"x5ft tent ? Stays at about 75-82 with a 300 watt galaxyhydro and 9 23watt cfls.

Awesome im definitely going to have to get the veg spectrum light before the 15th!! Im wanted to go all mars hydro for my grow and these veg lights will help with that!! only suggestion would be to have a switch on the mars 2 lights to use less diodes for germinating and saving money when the plants are young and dont need as much light but I still cant wait to get mine

I will go to factory next week and talk more with different departments in the factory, any other suggestions are welcome I will let them know and make some change ASAP.

only 144 is 5w now. other reflectors are still 3w

sorry for asking the same questions that have been asked before most likely...hard to find everything in all 874 pages lol


if ive read your posts correctly all the lights are being uprgraded with 5w LEDs?

so if i ordered a reflector 192x3 i would technically receive a 192x5?

its either that or i order a MarsII 900.

Hi sara, I just ordered 2 144 x 5's! Invoice #1364 via paypal. Please confirm receipt of order and funds. btw the invoice was sent directly by lucy on 5/19/15. just got funds today, so ordered today

The new reflectors are being made with 5w leds. They are not available everywhere yet. Most of the new shipments to the warehouses have the 5w I believe.

If we install more fans in the light, we have to make the light bigger. the current size, we can not make more fans. Do you have an idea how we can install more fans?

Once I'm done with my first Mars-hydro Reflector 48*3W grow, I intend to do a full review of the light in great detail and post it here

It would be cool if I could get to compare it with the newer 48*5W model though?

Lots of awesome news while I slept LOL I also emailed about the light, love the way my girls are doing under the 900 and soon getting ready to flower them. I will eventually be using nothing but Mars Hydro products for my indoor girls.
