Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Here is some OGiesel I have going currently under a Mars II 80x5w

Ice which spectrum are you using?

Heres what i gather so far about the two popular spectrums; jons and the standard. Standard is a ratio of 6:blushsmile:1; red:blue:white. Jons is 6:1; red:white. Standard has 4 infrared diodes and jons has 8 infrared diodes. Am i getting that correct?

I think mine is just the standard/flowering one. It has 4 IR diodes.

there do not have UV-B LED, all the UV we have is UV-A. Besides, I do not think other led grow light factory has UVB, we have the biggest demand for led chip, if we do not have, how others can get? you are not farmilar with UV-B, and you are not scientist, so even they are lying to you, you can not find it out. So all my friends, be careful.
I see some people supplementing the LED lights with UV-B bulbs. Ive no experience with this myself but have read some people reporting it really helps.

Hi, I'm growing in a 120 x 120 x 200 cm (length x width x height) sized tent. How strong LED light can I use without burning the plants? Also, how strong ventilation will I need?

Thank you!

hello SwedishChef, you'd better use a mars II 900 at least. thank you.

Dear Icemud, nice pictures, thank you very much.
Here is some OGiesel I have going currently under a Mars II 80x5w, this directly replaced my 400w HPS and I have to say the plants are much more frosty, and the lower buds are much fuller than the HPS. Definitely happy I purchased this light.

Here is my OGiesel.

Dear Nerfbane, we changed system from Zencart to Magento, so you have to register again, then you can order. thank you and sorry for the inconvenience we bring to you.
Hi Sara, I bought my first light when you had your original web page, were user accounts moved over to the new one? I was trying to log in last night, wasn't able to log in and didn't get the password reset when I requested it. Thanks :)

Just sent an email to order mine, waiting to hear back from Sara....so excited

This manufacturer has a UV B switch for the end of flowering: California Lightworks Products : SolarStorm

I have no idea what results it provides. Can you tell me the actual average power draw of your biggest unit and any PAR readings or spectrum charts you might have?

I am looking for some LEDs for a 4x4 tent. I will veg and flower in the same tent. What light or lights would you recommend? Would a Reflector LED Grow Light 192x3w be enough? Or would adding a Mars II LED Grow Light 400w be better?

the LED lights that company makes have UV light bulbs on the side of them not UVB LEDs.
