Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

If there's anyone else out there like me that doesn't quite have it in the budget for a lot of stuff, or is just a single plant grower, so far I can say I am very happy with my 48x3 Reflector unit I purchased. I've been running it for about 30 days now on my single plant already in the flowering stage. It seems to do well in the light and is plumping nicely. I'll be doing a journal on a single Auto Anesthesia after this as well to see how it does in bloom then flower.

yes, I am working hard on it, hope I can open it before I leave office today.
Thanks for that unboxing Icemud :thumb:

Sara, is your web site still down?

yes, I think it will run the same or a bit higher for Jon's light has many white. white drives higher power,:)
Hello everyone, great thread. I am thinking of also ordering a couple 240x5's and I am torn between the Area 51 spectrum like Jon and the Factory spectrum. Sara I am curious, will the customized spectrums run at around the actual draw power of the factory spectrums?? I'm almost tempted to order one of each and run them side by side. Lol....leaning more towards Jons specs!!

Nice picture, thank you Lordcaliban.

Well I am on board also, just put in a order for 2-240x5's with Jon's specs. This should be fun, with so many people stepping up to the LED scene at one time. Sara is awesome!! Jon sorry I copied you, but what you do with those A51's is crazy dude!! Lol....hoping these can fill a 5x10x7.5 with some frosty bud!! Thanks for all the info, pics, vids, and insight that everyone has contributed to this thread. I'm thankful someone like Sara has come along with a great product with reasonable prices, allowing us to not only grow trees, but hopefully save a few in the process.

Damn I'm in the same boat as you. I'm really torn as well. I like what mine is doing right now in Veg but I'd love to know which works better in flower!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I ve been telling everyone that asks to either wait until I finish a round with them before deciding or to stick with TopLed spectrums just in case maybe epistar cool white are different than Helexion cool white or something like that but I think they're going to work just fine. Good luck to both of you, make sure to post links to your journals here and in your threads so we can all see how they work for you:)
