I have the 48x3w reflector series. I just checked with my IR thermometer and thermocouple.Anybody have the temp readings of the reflector lights at the diode itself, about an inch away, and at the exhaust vents of the light?

Open air RH=40% (closed tent = 55-60%)
Input Air Vent = 76F (It cools down quickly when I open the tent. - It was 86F on opening)
Exhaust Vents - 80-84F
At LED - 100-108F (held against the led)
1inch below - 80F
2 inches below 75F
Canopy 12-18in below lights = 70F on tent opening 68F 5 min later.
Kill A Watt says 260W total (3 lights = 86.7w each)
Compared to every light I've seen or used, these lights run very cool. One can comfortably put their hand directly on the LED's. There's no chance of burns when moving the lights or working on plants. I don't have any experience with other brands of LED lights so I don't know how typical these temps are. I'd rate these lights a 10/10 on features, safety and ease of use.
Nice setup CoNerd
I can relate to taking a multi decade hiatus from growing. A lot has changed huh? Lucky for us, the plant still grows the same.
Good luck my friend.
Have you considered a journal?
hi sara

thx a lot and i'm a happy customer from mars-hydro. i will come back with pics and maybe a journal. cheers
I'm not sure another plain jane grow journal is worth it. I don't think I'm doing anything new or particularly interesting...
