Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

We are talking with glasses manufacture now, hope we can sell it in two months.
I use a pair of Active Eye Growroom Glasses to protect my eyes when I work in my grow rooms. The Active Eye Growroom Glasses have a slightly blue color to them when used with LED lights but allow a close enough examination of the plants.

Hmm..wonder if a green pair of those or similar would fix it?

Hey smokesara any ideas? Maybe you guys could produce some glasses to compliment your panels.

shower rod across the top to hold up the weight of the curtain(tarp) & then use your idea with velcro along the edges @ the side
you'd get a light tight seal that way & misses would never see the LED leaking out .

Don't have a pic, but, I picked up a heavy duty tarp, one of the double sided brown ones. Perfect! You can still tell the light is on, but only if knew it was there, now just looks like the glow of a nite-lite!

The wife is happy again!

SmokeSara; I have decided to just go ahead and purchase 2 more of the Mars ll 400 W as that will give me the same light output of the 1600 W. 4 x 400 W = 1600W. That is assuming that both lights have the same spectrum response. Please let me know if that is right before I pay for them. Thank you, Dan.

yes it is, please go to pay:) thank you Lobosolo.

Hello to everyone, This is my first post here. This seems to be a very helpful and friendly forum, and due to my recent purchase of an old model 300 watt LED, id thought it appropriate to post here to say thanks to all you guys who provide so much good info, it is what helped me make my decision..

Thanks Mr.WildWelshman, ill check it out. The light seems to be doing pretty well, though i think i may need another to completely fill in the tent with green canopy. How far do people generally keep this light from top of plants?

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for all the great research and journals for the pursuit of the ever evolving LED grow light. I made my mind up 2 years ago to go with a dependable and affordable led grow light. These forums have helped me decided on TopLed's for my next grow. Sara thanks for the customer service you have provided to 420 members.

My question is, would 2 of the 96x3 reflectors rock my 3x4x5 grow box?
Next is my concern for heat. I do have an exhaust system and I pull cool air in through a/c vent. The problem I had was grow area still had temps in the 82-84 degree range. Currently using cfl's and I think that is my major problem keeping temps down.

Give me a few weeks to get some things in order and I will be getting the lights. Thanks Sara.

Sara, just got my timer. Now I have everything! Seeds should be here this week too!

Thank you very much Sara

U are welcome:) waiting for your grow:))))

Yes, 2of 96x3w is ok for your grow box. From former feedback, I think the tempreture should keep 75~80degree, but recently, someone complain the heat problem, so I can not tell you now, Our engineer is checking some details. hope to give all of you the right information very fast. sorry. I should know this, but I can not tell now for someone tell me the truth or lie I do not know. we need to check it out in our factory.
